The e-mail I received yesterday said:

"From 1 October to 31 December 2014, earn double points - that's 2 Reward Points for every £1 spent
Following that, earn 1 Reward Point for every £1 spent using your new MBNA Rewards Credit Card"
  • Ridiculous... we more or less got £10 every month and a half from mbna, we used them a lot yet we get a standard one.

For the dual card, how much is a bogstandard £10 gift card in points? I want to see its realistic cashback.

One point is worth 0.5p when you exchange for a store voucher / gift card. I'm haven't calculated what they're worth if you exchange for an actual item.

All I am due to receive is an MBNA Rewards MasterCard- not the Dual MasterCard AmEx which they're offering to new customers via the website. Both MasterCards offer the equivalent of 0.5% back, while the AmEx offers 1%

I've been given a standard card presumably as I paid in full each month. I'll be cancelling this card once I get my last voucher. I've already applied for the dual Amex/Visa card but am now debating whether the Lloyds dual card offers better rewards.
  • Wish I had known about the current amex dual cards before applying for the santander 123.... the whole purpose of this thread too was to have intel on these

Any idea how long it takes for a Tesco credit card to arrive after applying? I applied last Tuesday and got my PIN through on Saturday but no sign of the actual card yet.
    Cashback earned
    Quidco : £858 :)
    Pigsback : £20 and a Beatles CD.

I got my card today about a week after the pin came through.

I will probably keep it (not use it) for the free anti-virus software. My Sky 1 year free subscription ends soon and they then charge £3 a month.

Just got an Amex too. 5% for first 3 months as I have a few big purchases to make :)

If someone doesn't take Amex, I will use the Tesco :)
