I've applied for a tesco card based on the following:
I've had one before and use tesco.
Customer service is good for credit card when I have had to call them. (Mbna and Barclays aren't)
Had two company's cancel cashback so far this year. I don't think tesco will.
It's a uk company - mbna is usa
7.9% apr (I pay in full every month but you never know there might be a time when I cant)
Ive done the same, with 0% on purchases for 19 months.
I use Tesco points at the moment to pay for days out with the kids, theme parks, cinema etc, and end up saving quite a bit. Hence thought the credit card would come in handy0 -

Yep seems a good move. I dont think it's worth messing about with others that can remove the deal at any time, which seems to be the norm. It's not Tesco's core business and if it encourages people to shop at Tesco, I can't see them removing it.
I can't be doing with AMEX and places not taking it / Fees for better cashback etc.0 -
Cashback on the Tesco card isn't very good. You get 1 point per £4, which is 0.25% equivalent. The 5 points per £4 in store at Tesco is if you don't already use a Clubcard. If you do, then it's still only 1 meagre point per £4.Bermudagirl wrote: »Have been told we will get our vouchers by 30/10/2014,0

The points are awarded per transaction, not on the monthly total, and only for complete amounts of £4. Examples:- £3.99 transaction earns 0 points;
- £4 transaction earns 1 point
- £7.99 transaction earns 1 point;
- £8 transaction earns 2 points;
- £500 monthly spend earns - impossible to calculate quickly as total points will depend on each transaction

I think I'm just going to stick with my old nationwide creditcard which has a 0.5% cashback rate and use that until something else comes along.0

No, it's the nationwide select credit card, still at 0.5%0

For those of us due to receive a Rewards Card, what points balance does your online account show?
When are they providing the 'double points'?
Since 01 October, I've spent around £650 on the current Amazon Card (although my account now shows my new account number instead) and have 650 reward points built up. That's equivalent to £3.25.
If they're offering double points until 31 December, shouldn't I have 1300 points (equivalent to £6.50)?0 -
I have 410 reward points only now. Are you sur they 'll offer double points ?0
