I know people can't promote their own comps here but...

Essentially by the increased traffic it generates to the blog and the various 'incentives' which follow on.
But not all bloggers use their blogs to make money.
My point is this, there was one blogger I spoke to a while back who never took payment for anything. She did post comps but never received anything for doing so. Yes, she had more followers / subscribers etc, but wasn't paid.
Now, because she doesn't use her blog as an income of sorts, would she still be penalised? She writes her blog just because she loves to write - which is what blogging should be about!
I understand that there are not many blogs today that are the same as hers, yet I've never heard of any bloggers say they've been paid to host a comp, ever. Mostly, I believe, it's American blogs that get paid to host comps.
So why can someone sit there and state that they get money from posting their comps when they don't?
Fellow bloggers, also subscribers to my blog, posted my previous comps - I never asked them to, just noticed them on here when I came to do some comping. Were they wrong? Because that is basically what COULD have happened for each and every blog comp posted! Thanks to all posters :A0 -
I must admit I have nothing else to add here, the parties concerned know what they are doing and they also know that it is being noticed and reported. End of really.0

I have given a very simple & easy to do idea to the forum team to stop all of this.
With my idea no one would loose out, the comps would still be posted on here. I want the comps to be posted on here, it's a comp board. I posted them myself for a year & wish things could be different for me here because I still would be posting them now.
When I posted all the blog comps I did here, not one single blogger knew who I was. No one.
Even when I won a prize I never told them who I was ever.
Those are the MSE rules.
That is what is so annoying, there is no need to cheat. All of these bloggers that are cheating their comps onto MSE know full well two websites that MSE comp members check daily & add comps to MSE from these two websites.
No need what so ever for any of it.This Post Has Been Sponsored ByChocolate0 -
