I think this thread should probably be closed now.

People have differing opinions. That's life. There's no point arguing about it and getting personal.

Like I said before, report posts and move on. The more time wasted arguing here, the less time spent on entering competitions!!

most blog prizes are spread across so many the odds are ever diminishing

add that to sometimes a completly pointless prize and the endless 'make a comment' follow on FB/twitter, instagram, blog loving (whateer that is ) etc its not worth the time and hassle

if people want to put their own blogs on then fine - 99% of people wont care what blog it is , they just enter for the prize

Essentially by the increased traffic it generates to the blog and the various 'incentives' which follow on.
