I know people can't promote their own comps here but...

what is the position if someone has agreed a reciprocal arrangement with say another blogger to promote their competitions?

'Advertising' includes touting for business; asking people to contact you; posting e-mail addresses which indicate a web address; linking to sites or blogs you or friends are involved with (whether you’re selling something or not); or linking to your eBay or other auction sales

    Thank You gholmes,

That's going to help a lot, the more people who do report self promotion the better.

    Yes Fire**Fly,

I agree I can see it. I guess we just need to keep reporting them each time they do it.

I have suggested to the forum teams something that might help stop this happening but I've no idea if they will go with it or not.

I guess it's harder to spot the bloggers who have been on the forum for a long time self promoting than a new person posting self promotion.

That does not mean it dose not happen in fact it's happening almost every day

And the posting of blog comps that have all ready been posted to get the bloggers comp at the top of the comp page over & over again is sooo Cheeky!
