D-Day is here

Well, the dreaded 20th is here, and lots of unhappy sellers on the discussion boards.

However, today I have achieved Powerseller and Top Rated Seller on my newest account. I do already have one defect, so not sure how long it will last

Ebay have kindly opted me into Managed Returns on one of my accounts already, so need to work out how it is going to affect my sales pattern.

Hope it's not all bad news for all sellers out there

It might be D day for you lot, but all my main accounts still show that my next evaluation is on 20th August, nothing has changed otherwise . I am in a time warp.

I told you, eBay hate me.

You and me both....I always get my 'update' early evening!...maybe it takes so long to calculate ours as we are special...LOL

That's what worries me..do we want to be 'special' as far as eBay are concerned ::rotfl:

Still, I've woken up to two 'private' offers for stock that i haven't relisted I'm usually very law abiding but they came through eBay messages and it has allowed me to send my email back heavily disguised to get past the bot. It doesn't usually allow me to send anything like my email address via eBay messages .

I've also had a thought about some potential items that would be allowed on etsy. It doesn't save me money using etsy but I just feel I am taking back a little control.

Nothing for me yet. I'm expecting the worse, as my defects level is at 7%. 75% of these are items not received tho, which is frustrating. I guess I will need to send all items by recorded delivery by now on, which is frustrating as it will take more time and push my prices up.......

Well if all projections are correct then I should remain a TRS on my business ID and 'above standard' on my 2 private ID's...so not much has changed for me except I can now see who the buyers are that are leaving me low stars!


Looks like I survived the cull this time round.

My private account is showing a defect that was for July 3rd 2013, have spoken to ebay but they don't care, nothing has changed for me today.

Exactly the same here (are we perhaps the same person in a twilight zone:eek:) . Projected TRS in business account and above standard on private as at 20th August.

I am worried about the main private one though as that is the one with fake defects which ever CS couldn't find- they thought they might actually disappear at this evaluation.

It will be interesting to see if the eBay stick to their promise that sellers would have a period of grace if defects were as a result of historical problems that happened before the new scheme was announced.

I still have the 20 cases which were opened while I was on holiday and people hadn't seen the out of office. Fortunately, that's just a fraction of 1% for us.

When does it show your next evaluation to be? mine hasn't changed on any of my accounts and still says next evaluation is 20th August..
