Bumped because this thread seems to have been forgotten about - this is in my view is the most important thread on MSE flight delay forums ? Speak now if you have a different opinion? Or continue to post in it, as i hear links in sigs to it are no longer allowed

    Cheers,

You have 6 years in England and Wales, 5 years in Scotland. If you are approaching the end of the period, start writing as no claim no fee businesses will not take them and the day you reach the deadline without having issued legal proceedings, your claim is gone

Perhaps it's too much to hope, but maybe this guide might not be needed for too much longer? Here's hoping!

No I can tell you as regular helper on the J2 thread, its still comforting to read your guide and know my rights afforded by EC261/2004 in March 2018. None of us are experts, and reading the basics of flight delay are still a valid and resourceful read.....

My flight from southend to manchester was cancelled and we were put on a flight 4 hours later. This was with flybe BE6236 which is the cancelled one and we were put on the later one 4 hours later BE6238. Am i still allowed compensation? My husband thinks not. This was in the middle of thee match too! If I'm allowed compensation do I email or write to flybe? Thank you in advance

Vauban's guide could do with updating.
The connecting flight issue - Gahan/Buckley v Emirates case.
Some fine tuning of words here and there.
