Ah, but it can't hurt to keep reminding him :D
I always tell my OH that I'm gorgeous, and he's lucky. What can he do but agree??

  • I think the joy of grandchildren is supposed to be you can do the nice stuff and when they turn bad or you get bored or it involves too many bodily fluids you give them back and can ignore such hints.

Apparently being a grandparent is far more fun than being a parent...

Great! Has anyone found a way of becoming a grandparent without the whole having to have kids of your own thing????? Being a grandparent sounds like fun but this parenting lark sounds a bit too tough to me :rotfl:

Sar, sorry you're feeling c**p. Hopefully today will be better.

Step-grandkids! Guess you could start trawling bingo halls and doctor's waiting rooms if yer up for a bit of granny "grabbing". Imagine, they get a bit more willing at that age too - the ratio of women to men is quite high!
  • Wooo ebay is now up to £51 so that's nearly the trigger paid for.. ;)

I always found the best thing to get my two to sleep through the night was to take them out in the buggy at about 3pm - fresh air is great for helping them to relax, I'd let them sleep for about 20 mins whilst having a brisk walk round the park then get them home - wake them up - get tea down them and off for a silly half hour of manic playing before bath and bed......The walking will help you to destress too.

    Just a thought.
