Hi all
We have been kitchen shopping this aft and have finally made a decision. That means I need to start thinking about running down my store cupboards and packing stuff away (shudder).
DS1 at hospital tomorrow and my nice boss said its so quiet at work I might as well take the whole day off - so a long weekend for me. Fretting a bit about DS at the moment, probably because we have had a lot of appointments lately so I never stop thinking about it.
Skint - that sounds like a great wardrobe system. I have too many clothes but find it really hard to get rid of them. I did throw out some summer stuff that I havent worn but there is more to go.
Right, kitchen needs a tidy then and a few other bits to do before I crash in front of the telly.0 -

Evening all
Lovely day out = no flying, DS1 did put the washing on the line and DS3 has got it in. Another lot of the airer.
Need to have a quick look through the GCSE results where I'm a governor and then I think an early night as 2 hours driving has worn me out.
Bonnie, that was a long way to go, glad you both enjoyed it.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Ooh love that system skinty! I have clothes all over the place with no real system, all different sizes, and no real idea of what size I am now. It's all so confusing. I tend to wear the same things again and again, and the rest is just clutter.
I had to pop out for an appointment tonight so nothing else done here and now I'm off to bed!Bossymoo

DD has painted the cubby where she built the shelves yesterday and done lots of baking. I've spent the day on the laptop doing various bits. I was going to do some painting tonight but I'm so tired I'm going to stay up to deal with the bread DD has in the oven/waiting to go in and then I'm off to bed. The problem with me painting now is that furniture needs moving around to get to 90% of what needs painting but where it needs to move to is a little too close to the wet/still tacky paint for my liking. Tomorrow after we've been grocery shopping, I'll move the furniture around and hopefully get the rest of the gloss painting done. Looks like I'll be starting the wallpapering on Sunday rather than tomorrow due to how long it takes for the gloss to dry off completely
Oh well, when I come to do the rest of the house the rooms should be done much quicker as there's less stuff in them, and in theory there are less things to go wrong lol
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Evening all :hello:
[QUOTE=YORKSHIRELASS;66311006]Ooh all this talk of school stuff reminded me, I was going to get some cheap drawstring bags for DS to hang on the back of his bedroom door (yes I know I could make them but I am useless at that kind of thing). I thought he could put his outdoor PE kit in one, indoor kit in another, footie kit in another and so on. He is 13 but hopelessly disorganised and did ask me if I could help him organise his sports stuff better.QUOTE]
If it's just to keep in the house could you utilise some old pillow-cases instead of buying new ??
Warning - rant coming up !!
Had a 'mare of a day today. Tried to close an account (it's empty) at the N W bank today but NO - have to return all the bumff - cards etc - to them as I can't cut them up at home ?? So will have to go back up town again (can't do it on-line either)
Ok - so bearing in mind it's my only free day in the week I went to Sant Bank as I need to change the date of the direct debit which pays off our cc each month, because DH getting paid on a different date now. Easy yes - wrong NO. So eventually - long story and phone call at the bank - have had to cancel present one and have to go back Tuesday to set new one. WHY ?? in this day and age of computers is it all so difficult ?
Sorry folks - rant over.
So I was so p**sed off that I went to the bookshop, bought a travel book, went home and sat with cups of tea and read most of it. Not a lot of flying done
If it's gone I've done it or don't have one

Am finally going off to bed, it's taken me a while to persuade the pup with no name that she should sleep on the warm bed with the hot water bottle rather than the tiled floor between my feet.
She's beautiful. The cat is making me so proud because she's got so close to her tonight. In fact, she nearly ate a treat which we placed on pups back. I think it helps that pup is the same colour as the sofa!
3 accidental ewes and 1 poo. Luckily, the crate arrives tomorrow!

Morning all - I'm late - are you all still snuggled in bed? Or flying madly?
I love Skinty's system too - like you Bossy have been wearing the same thing over and over! Now they are far too big (yay!) so have been ruthless and put my favourites of the biggest 2 sizes away ready to alter when I get to target. The rest have gone to the charity shop. I didn't realise how big they were!!! Today I am in a very snug smart skirt and a top I haven't ever worn since I bought it - must be three years ago!
All I have left in my "too small rail" now are 3 skirts and 3 white blouses - hard to get blouses to fit 'cos of my swollen arm and right side.
Am now looking for some cheap stuff to replace what I've got rid of - think Mr Primarni is too young for me though so it'll have to be Mn S outlet!!
Off to learn the till job at vol job 1 today - really excited!
Catch up later - have a great day.July 16 £95/£200
Nov 16 £0/£200
