Looks like big watt hoovers are going to be no more under new legislation. :eek:
Me and Mr TS were discussing it earlier and he thinks it will be false economy. And he is the biggest "greenie" I know. He reckons that people will just hoover more defeating the object of the legislation, maybe needed to go over the same carpet few times if the lower watt do not work as well. He said he thinks people might even be tempted to hoover more often if they think they do not have as powerful machine.

My OH was often away for 3 months or 6 months at a time when the kids were young. I think they cope but looking back it was a bigger thing to them when they were toddlers.
They do get through it though. Maybe is way of connecting things is by Hoover :eek: :rotfl:
You're right about it getting harder for him as he gets older, this is the first time we've had proper big tears at the airport and on the way back home ''I'm never ever going to see my daddy ever ever again'':(
He's ok now but we're going over there for 3 weeks in October and I think I may have problems on the return flight..I shall try and placate him by reuniting him with his hoovers0 -

Mans work :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
If I lived in your house, you'd cook for me, keep the kitchen clean and shout me in from the shed when my dinner was ready. And you know it:rotfl:

When I was working full time I only ever hoovered on the weekend (unless there was a major spillage or a spider to get rid of), I just couldn't be bothered in the week so I don't think I would hoover more often if I was still that person, but Mr TS is probably right in that I would probably use more passes to get the carpet clean with a less powerful machine0 -
