I have always wanted to try one so at that price seems worth it.
Just catching up before I head to bed I've had my slow cooker for over six years not this model but one very similar and I use it 2 or 3 times a week in the winter and wouldn't be without it throw everything in in the morning and leave to cook all day no stirring or burnt pots great for soup stews and roasts0 -
I always miss these off:
1 x ASDA Cucumber Portion£0.35£0.25 (M)
as whole cucumbers vs 49ps therefore pedantically cheaper. (Maybe the better reason is that whoopsies on those whole cucumbers go down quite a lot cheaper than even 25p?) But, with "portion" cucumbers, nominally half, sometimes being somewhat more long than the length of half a cucumber, maybe they should be mentioned as they would be in effect saving money/better priced (if we were dealing in standard prices).0 -

Thank you for your advice, much appreciated and no your not waffling on. :rotfl::rotfl:
What MM was saying about the halti riding up towards/over the eyes happened with us but I thought that was just because she insisted on pulling and she did once she got used to it
Whatever is worth a try till you find the answer as a dog that pulls is a PITA on walks as you already know.
Ceaser taps their leg with his foot as it takes their minds off pulling but because of ops did not want to boot her :rotfl:When The Fun Stops Stop0 -
Does typing help or not
It does help keep things moving, I am not a two fingered typist.Physio gave me exercises for my thumbs years ago as they are my worst problem. It's things like driving that cause me problems because my hands are in one position for a long time or anything that needs any strength like scrubbing.
I used to find clicking the touch pad on the old lappie would play it up as can be repetitive but this one is nice and sensitive only needs a gentle tap.
:T
I can't remember the last time my hands felt "normal". I had steroid injection once and felt like my joints had been oiled like the tin mans but the results only lasted a few days so I am not a good candidate for any more.
I was only diagnosed because I saw a Locum, I guess like Karlie, my GP dismissed my symptons as tennis elbow. The locum did say he thought I was far too young but all credit to him he was right.
Oh dear short story long there.0 -

I'd rather get in my shed but have had no time. I have 'come by' a big pile of pallets and have a fab book with amazing stuff that you can make from palletsI had a rough go at a wine rack thing the other day
Tomorrow if I get time I'm going to cut some wood for an ottoman/chest type thing. If I get time.......
Shocking, you didnt even have time to hoover today, yet you are talking about doing mans work. Dont you think you should concentrate on your duties a bit more first???“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Just before we went out shopping today I nipped upstairs to do something and when I came back down he had the hoover out - can I just hoover this bit before we go mummy?
Whenever his dad goes back to Poland he always starts with I miss daddy, I want to see daddy, I want to go on an aeroplane and go to daddy's,...then it quickly goes to I want to use daddy's hoover, daddy has only got one hoover, it's a red one, I like daddy's hoover etc etc
When I rang OH today DS grabbed the phone and asked him if his hoover was working :rotfl:
AAww bless him. It must be getting harder for him as he gets older.....you 2 being apart. I only say that because I know what it's like. My OH was often away for 3 months or 6 months at a time when the kids were young. I think they cope but looking back it was a bigger thing to them when they were toddlers.
They do get through it though. Maybe is way of connecting things is by Hoover  :rotfl:0 -
Perhaps confirms a few items vs M, particularly some S/P 'fillers'. Not the S/P Toilet Roll though - even though M have 200 sheets per roll 6 pack at £1 (as we know, via Tvs M comparison), the S/P still returns N/A vs M, perhaps because the S/P one has only recently appeared on msm. Keep eyes out for any M price appearing on any future collection results - not that I need any flippin' loo rolls at the moment:(:(:rotfl:. Some of the Oxo cubes are on 2 for £2 in M - though different size may be better elsewhere! Regular Beef 6 pack on 85p in some M stores (buy in M if available and if need be as believed it will still compare to full price on the APG as that's what the price collectors appear to have in their stores).

This did look like "a Morries comparison" to me on seeing the receipt just now. Always nice when that happens, even if they buy the same flamin' tomatoes every time. Sadly however it isn't good. The Vitalite Spread was on 2 for £2 in M up to and including last week, but that price failed to make it to the M list.0
