Put much more eloquently than me Mildred.
I have no command of the English language. :rotfl:
I didn't think we had that powerful hoover but ours is a 2000w that seems quite a bit above the recommended 1600w.
I drive everyone mad when I hoover I have to get in every corner and I use the nozzle far too much. I tend to burn hoovers out.
No no, it's only because this is DS's favourite video

He then likes to do his own pretend video, talking about cleaner heads, passes, canisters, motors etc :rotfl:0 -

I have one of those sat in my porch that was my mum's.Haven't been able to part with it yet. Was her last defiance of independence. I had told her she was not to hoover anymore with her broken back and how unsteady she was so she got her friend to buy one. As if holding on to the thin stick of that would be safe. I refused to put it together and bless her she got it out the box when I was not there and managed to screw it together of a fashion. I did feel guilty but I was worried she would go over when I wasn't there. I hope I have her determination in my old age. :A

I really feel for you. I hope you find a way for the three of you to be together permanently in the future. If that's what you want of course
It would be nice...mind you I couldn't be doing with him under my feet all the time :rotfl:

I can't remember the last time my hands felt "normal". I had steroid injection once and felt like my joints had been oiled like the tin mans but the results only lasted a few days so I am not a good candidate for any more.
Sorry to hear your hands are so bad Tinyshoes. I don't have arthritis, but I do have problems with my hands as I have hypermobility. My fingers "lock" sometimes and other times I just don't grip well.
Last week I couldn't get my trolley token thing out of the trolley at A's.
I was really struggling and thought the trolley was faulty. A woman waiting to park her trolley offered to help and she got the token out first time. It made me feel really old."I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good, therefore, that I can do or any kindness I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it for I shall not pass this way again."
