Commiserations on the cataract - I had eye surgery a few months ago for a torn retina, and it involved some oil being left behind my eye to help the healing process. This means a further op under local anaesthetic to remove the oil, but it causes a cataract to form which needs sorting out at the same time. So, I have one good eye and one progressively-more-blurry eye at present, and am waiting for my operation date which should be during the next few weeks. Can't wait, I hate looking at things in a lopsided sort of way!
