(Turnips wrapped in recycled bubblewrap obviously don't want to hurt anyone).

Ooh looks nice, ADDING TO REPERTOIRE :j. I had a sweet potato, salad and beans today with a few pickles. That was rather nommy as well. Not decided on evening meal yet.

Thinking of a nice soup, as meals seem to have got muddled up this week and we are having lots of larger ones for mid day rather than the other way around. :D

Happy Friday Pipster:j Glad of bubblewrap, helps the old bruises:rotfl:

I seem to be doing my good samiritan bit this weekend and helping the neighbour with her annual insurance trawl. I wonder if i can beat last years? Challenge on:D

Also will be taking a leaf out your good book and tackling the garden. Mr.B is not a natural gardener=younger version of himself is also not a natural gardener, but will at least have a go.:o Anyhoo the weeds have prevailed once again and i don't like using weed killer as we have a lot of animals ( cats and also hedgehogs around) so wouldn't want to hurt them..even if they do poo a lot in the garden ( cats that is:cool:)

  • Meant to say i bagged myself a bargain with the Hi Tec trainer code on the main page. Sadly my other trainers died a death ( they cost a tenner about three years ago) I washed them in the machine and the bottoms fell off. Even i couldn't rescue them :/

Well along comes a code and i now have another pair for £11 ish. With inflation and everything, i didn't think that was too bad :D

  • I also forgot to say i received £10 cashback through Quidco. So all in all a bit of a bargainous week.

Now to ramp it up even further :D

Happy Friday folks. Enjoy your weekend. Bob x

  • Been a busy old day with one thing and another.

Helped a neighbour renew their car insurance-beat last years quote and got her the much sought after Oleg :D

Cooked up a storm in the kitchen. Not literally although i feel like it could get stormy outside any minute.

    Todays offerings have been:

Sweet potato and a lovely veg omelette
    Butternut squash soup
Chicken and bacon parcels with fresh veg.
Two new loaves ( I made them) and lots of fresh fruit..i am being very good :D

Two lots of washing done and on airers as weather is Iffy.

Place tidied-was hoping to do the lawns, but didn't with the weather.

So that's me done for today. :D

  • I am already falling into bad habits by not updating:p

Trainers arrived today and i have to say they are wonderfully comfortable:D And a bargain:money:..

I am getting used to new phone and it is a lower contract amount :D
It is also less pervy than the other one ( it was very good at changing words to rude things:o)

We went slightly over budget at the weekend on food. This will recoup back over the next few weeks as plenty of stock in and we have a £15 off Morrisons coupon to use, plus money off petrol ( it is still the cheapest in the area)

Gas and electric, finally sorted out i hope re taking payments. Now i have to get the rest owed me..honestly i can't believe how they act.

Other than that housework and more housework....Pah!
