    £7714 savings
    £3715 MBing

Im making great strides with my savings and MBing is treating me kind, I had a nice few wins on slot offers and a happy accident! (I backed/layed 2 different markets and lucky for me they both won!) Hopefully hit £4k by the time the month is through and my initial aim was to hit £5k by xmas.

Ive submitted forms to the Doc for them to sign regarding DS' fracture so the payout ball is in motion and he'll hopefully get some cash before the year is through- just in time for his 5% interest to be paid on his account! Timed that well :D

I did something really silly and so out of character; I attended a free property seminar that is held at my local 5* hotel, endorsed by Martin Roberts (Homes under the Hammer) and hosted by a 'property millionaire'. For a free course, it was good and taught me a thing or two. I attended with my friend who has dabbled in property and she really enjoyed it, so much so the she got swept up in the moment and persuaded me to sign up to a 3 day course costing £997!! For some reason I went along with it and paid £500, didnt pay on my CC, didnt research and accepted the free gift and was then persuaded to open the box, by my friend, to make sure it was ok (it was a crappy tablet that they claim to be worth £450!) I had to leave quickly to do the school run and about an hour later it started to dawn on me what I had done. I saw a sticker on the side of the tablet box saying 'if you open it you wont get a refund' sort of thing and my heart sank. Typed it in google and it was one negative review after the other. Anyway, my bank is being cool and helping me out to process a chargeback and I have contacted the company who have told me to send back the tablet unopened...I havent said anything so im going to have to see how this one pans out. Why oh why I agreed, when Im such a stickler for researching, I have no idea! Im not worried or stressed about it, I get the feeling that I will bet my money back somehow. So if you see it advertised, by all meant go to the free seminar, but dont purchase a thing- the next course doesnt provide the service they claim to do, its just a chance to persuade you to part with £20k for another course!!

Lesson learnt and back to stickler mode.

Ooops, these things happen. Hopefully the bank will help.

I'm ok, I've not started Mbing... mainly cos I've not really been here and I don't want to loose any money I'm making elsewhere. I might dabble after Christmas maybe.

Gosh, it has been a while since my last update. doesnt time fly :o

So savings have taken a little hit as I had to buy a few unavoidable things. The £500 from the rogue seminar still hasnt been paid, they did say they would refund without a problem but the money is coming from the US finance office and could take 2-3 weeks...tomorrow is the end of the 3 week period. If its not in my account by the morning then I will be having words.

I had a little rat steal £1600 from my paypal/bank account (via paypal) but thankfully First Direct are amazing and returned the amount to me minutes after I made the call and Paypal have done the same too. So its all back in my account and crisis averted!

And fabulous news coming up (and also the reason for my savings hit)....

My son is now in Grammar School!! :D:D:D

I am so proud and happy for him, he was really struggling at his secondary school as he just didnt fit in but we got the call on friday that a space was available and that he could start on monday so que panic buying uniform and supplies! This cost me around £250 with a few things still to buy which hurt a little as I had bought the previous schools full uniform and PE kit not 3 months prior. He's taken to the school like a duck to water and he's beaming with pride- and so he should :)

    So heres my updates:

    Savings: £8162
    MB: £4385
    Total: £12547

Yay! :D Im still striving for £5k matched betting profit for christmas, I have another £85 ish to add to the pot tonight and after that Im praying for lots of bets over the footie packed weekend!

DS' broken bone claim came back- £420! I took out £80 for replacement school shoes and PE kit that DS lost that I told him he would be paying for and put the rest into his account for when hes older.

Hope you are all keeping well, best wishes and I'll aim for daily updates!

    Nat x

And almost forgot, I opened a Help 2 Buy ISA with Halifax and £1200 transferred over for the first month. Strongly recommend any first time buyer to open one to get the bonus from the government :D

Heres to saving for our first homes

Oh I know! He cleared me out and sent me into unauthorised overdraft. My rent was due to come out the next day so Im so grateful that First Direct are so efficient :) The bank are making a case for the police so its nothing to do with me now.

£462 to go until I hit my £5k MBing target by xmas. Lots to do today so hopefully I will see that figure decrease.

FREE crisps, turkey slices (the cat loved it!) drinks and lots of money off coupons in martins coupon shopping guide. I saved £15 off a £30 shop and had loads of freebies.

FREE £10 worth of fuel when you are a newbie at TCB, If you are already a member, just sign up again using a different email addy ;)

Must get on, this money wont make itself :D

    Happy Saturday all!
