Do men get broody?

Options
Just a thought really....at the milestone of buying first place and now the next part is getting married and wanting kids....I've been noticing baby bumps allover the place so much so its making me very broody but OH, he's not really broody and more all about his interests right now which got me thinking-is it just us women who get broody about having kids or do men get broody too?

I guess the obvious answer is 'it depends on the man'.

I work with a fella really keen to have kids - but he hasn't yet found a nice g/f! My OH didn't ever want them.

They do; my OH is at the moment. I'm not sure I really want them.

^^^ been there. Now have an almost-4 year old that's the light of my life. Can't imagine not having her.

DH has been broody ever since!
Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman
  • Depends on the man I suppose. Me personally, yes. But that doesn't necessarily mean I'll have any kids.

I think it depends on the individual.

I know men who have been / are broody and I also know women (the same for me) who have never, ever been broody.
  • I more or less second what Stevio is saying. I think men do it because they feel that is what the Mrs wants and they do it to either keep the peace or keep her happy and/or his mother!

I have spoken to a few men who have made it clear that they do not want any maybe because other men's plight with the Child Support Agency.
