  • Where do I find the Newbie Sticky or the template?
  • Sorry, didn't see the reply!!
  • Is it worth noting in this appeal that this car park does not actually charge a fee?

only if they were alleging you didnt pay , otherwise I fail to see what that has to do with any appeal

any appeals are about legal arguments like not a gpeol , no contract . poor signage , anpr issues etc

I would disagree Redx as the fact that it is a free car park is relevant to the recent appeal decisions which say that if there is no initial loss
then there can be no Gpeol flowing from that.
OP look for examples of the wording on the POPLA decision thread for use later at POPLA.

I agree if its in the not a gpeol appeal section , but not as a separate appeal point which is how it is phrased when I read it

sometimes I believe people over think their appeals instead of "going with the flow"

plus this is an NTK template appeal, not the popla appeal

Am I safe to enter all my personal details on the PE appeal form?

if you are the NTK they already have your details, so I fail to see why they need them again

if you were appealing by post as RK, you would put your name and address and pcn number on the letter, so anything you would normally do you can do, but as RK not driver

Of course you need to put in who you are in terms of your name and address as registered keeper of the car and the PCN number you are appealing. You really are over-thinking this - just appeal using the 'shorter template' I wrote in the Newbies thread. Don't fall at simple hurdles like sending an appeal that they have no clue who sent it...or can use excuses not to reply to...

Many newbies do the whole thing with no thread at all, just by following what the top thread tells them:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4911394

See post #6 - look at how easy it is - and calm down and just do the really easy 2 stage appeal using the templates to beat this.

The only unusual thing about your case is a ParkingEye windscreen ticket which are rarely seen, and it means when it comes to POPLA appeal you cannot include the 'ANPR camera' appeal point. I tell you what - we would all be interested in seeing a scan or photo of both sides of that PCN and NTK as I don't think I have seen a PE one which followed a windscreen ticket! Please show the 2 documents to us (both sides, all wording an dall dates & detials except your car reg/name/address/PCN number) because we may be able to add more to your POPLA appeal in due course. But don't dither about doing the first appeal, get that done asap.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
