    Just got feedback from the two viewers on Monday.

    Both sets liked the house but felt the kitchen and carpets needed renewing etc. Sounds as if they are trying to drive down the price but as it is already down 50K for a quick sale I am not wanting to be browbeaten.

    It would be ideal if the viewer this weekend puts in a good offer but not getting my hopes up.

    Looking at some apartments in Wales next week.

    In fact we are viewing several apartments in Pembrokeshire. One near Tenby, one near Saundersfoot and one in the middle. We are staying in an inn which is next to the one in St Florence :)

    We have wanted a place in Wales for about twenty years, but we went to Spain for eight years instead, which we enjoyed, but now I think we'll go back to Plan A. We are very lucky to have the opportunity.

    We had two viewings on Monday and were supposed to have one done by the EA at the weekend. Got back on Monday after a few days away with family to remember special places and scatter DH's ashes. Not sure if viewing took place but trying to be philosophical.

    It is a beautiful house! I so wish I could transport it like stone-for-stone and erect it where I live. What is 'wrong' with the area - you said it had 'deteriorated'? If it is that renting (btl) has become more prevalent then I think this affects many areas where there used to be owner-occupiers.
