Good morning and welcome to the weekend :j
It's been another busy week for me work wise and I was so tired last night I was in bed before 10.30.pm...rock and roll eh? :rotfl:
Little to report on the mortgage OP front sadly. I have received a £10 voucher from a survey this week.
In other money matters, I'm a bit frustrated. I applied for a new current account a few weeks ago (begins with N and will leave you to draw your own conclusions). However, they lost my orginial application and I had to chase them up. I popped into a branch this week to sign the paperwork and so I thought all was ok now. My PIN arrived last night with the title 'Mrs'. I was a bit surprised but thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt and see what the card said when it turned up. It came today and also says Mrs :wall: I called them and was told I now have to go back to a branch with ID to confirm I am Miss  The paperwork I have from the app is correct. Given this is their error, I'm somewhat miffed. I'm beginning to wonder if the account is a good idea now as they clearly have issues with the basics.:(
In contrast, I've applied and opened another account elsewhere this morning and that establishment couldn't have been more different. Application was smooth and account is already open and ready to use (with no errors too!).
So I'm now sitting with a :coffee: and figuring out what the days plans are. It really ought to be gardening as the garden seems to have gone a bit mad whilst I was on holiday...but it's really not my fave activitity. MG - if you pop by here - will you come and help?
Have a lovely day everyone

The bank account thing sounds very annoying, but sometimes you need to give them the benefit of the doubt. For example, the Spanish bank were legendary for their crap customer service, but then they created the 123 account and there seems to have been a sea change. Now customers with that particular account are actually some of the happiest. Always annoying when things go wrong, but don't led dud data entry put you off what might be a good account for you.0

Oops! I suggest you treat yourself to some ice-cream, eaten directly from the tub -it'll be lovely and soothing on your blistered hands.
It's being delivered in just over 2 weeks - can't wait! :j

:hello: remember me..? lol Goodness I hadn't realised where the week has gone!
It's been a mixed bag of a week. The first half I spent feeling below par - not poorly but not quite right either and can't put my finger on it more than that. The second half of the week I just felt tired - totally eye dropping tiredness... which is never good when you are away travelling for work
Feeling much better now though - amazing what a good nights sleep can do - especially in your own bedI will be away for a large part of the coming week too so hoping this one will be better
It's been a slightly spendy week as I have been tempted into buying a new handbagHowever, it was a good price at £89 down from £225 originally  and I will get almost £6 in cashback too. It's not often I buy stuff like this and it's a colour & style that I have loved for ages. A girls gotta have some pleasures right?
In other money news:
Small OP of £5.21 made which was a cashback item that became payable and a survey payment
I've also claimed £25 in survey vouchers elsewhere
I've changed my ISA online this morning for an account with the same provider but a better rate. I'm pleased as it took all of about 3 minutes and I get to retain the same account details which makes life nice and easy
New bank card arrived with correct name on it - so have finished setting up the account and have transferred some money to earn some lovely interest
Finally, I have some items for sale on the Bay of that are due to finish today. One in particular has 12 watchers so I am hoping that it turns into a late bidding frenzy
Have a lovely day whatever you are up to.

Hope you've had a lovely weekend BW. Glad to hear that you are feeling better. Well done on your bargain handbag - you're right, you've got to treat yourself every now and again otherwise the road to mortgage freedom will be a very long and dull road.
Hope you have a good week.

Hi Bookworm - agree with MG regarding the handbag with bells on! I have a posh bag and I absolutely love it, still feel thrilled when I go out with it and I've had it 10 months.
Way I look at these things - the more I wear or use something the better value it is - so £100 - wear twice thats £50, ten times thats £10 - you get the idea. Looking at it that way the bag will be fantastic value!0
