Hi Mr E - there is always :coffee: available so feel free to grab a cup ;)

I'm not usually around here during the day but have had an enforced from work home day due to the car being out of action following an accident last night :( All ok but just trying to sort out insurance, repairs and hopefully a temp vehicle.

I guess this is what emergency funds are for eh?

  • Sorry to read about the car accident. Glad you two are ok - the beauty of insurance. Good luck. We had a claim recently against someone and surprisingly it went smoothly. Maybe they have improved the customer experience in the last few years.

    Take care, Tilly

Well it's certainly been an eventful week for me...

I now have a loan car whilst mine is away being repaired. No idea yet or timescale or cost... will try and find out more on Monday

I've been called away this weekend to deal with an unexpected family situation and I'm so glad that I was mobile again in time for that

Work has also been bonkers  - June is a busy month but for some reason this seems worse than ever. It probably doesn't help with all the suff happening outside of work either...but I guess at least I can't say I'm bored eh?! :o

    In money news:

    - £15 received in survey vouchers
    - £3 from a PC survey and OP'd

    - Holiday money picked up :j I know that's not really money saving but I'm excited about going away in the not too distant future :rotfl:

    Evening

This week has turned out to be a busy one. Work is still pretty manic and as well as usual day to day stuff there has been quite of bit of additional hospitality around the edges too. It will be a welcome relief to get back to a 'normal' day back in the office tomorrow.

I've also been told I may be able to get my car back tomorrow too :j - just waiting on a phone call first thing to confirm. It will be nice to have 'my girl' back.... funny how they are so often females :rotfl:

In money news - small OP of £3 which was a survey payment that came in.

It's been a semi spendy week as I've had a few birthdays to buy for but most of it was budgeted so not too bad really.

    Almost the weekend ;)

    BW :)
