Hi Mr E - it was the 2nd win in 2 weeks  I'd love a third and preferably with a few more zero's on the end :p

Phew it's been a long day! Glad to be home and sitting down

Work was uneventful - though this evening was more interesting (if you can call it that :rotfl:)

I went hospital visiting to see one of my friends has just had a baby girl a few weeks earlier than expected. All is fine with baby and mum but they are keeping them both in for a while to keep an eye on them as the baby is so small (4lb 9oz) I had a lovely visit and was just getting ready to leave and ended up having a bit of a funny turn. Not at all like me. Came over all faint and my friend said I went very pale! The nurses made me sit down and wouldn't let me leave until they were happy with me.Took me another hour before I got away.

I think it was just because it was VERY warm in the hospital but I suspect not having had much to eat or drink for a while probably didn't help. I was quite embarrassed :o However, as my friend pointed out... I was in the right place if it had of been worse

In money news - £7 OP which was some cash expenses I had due back

I haven't updated figures yet for the end of May and will get back with that later in the week.

    BW :)

    Morning

I'm pleased to say the rest of the week passed without any more funny turns or faint moments :T
In money news - £2.47 OP made (cashback) and made it a week with no spending except for weekly grocery shop so that's quite a result (for me anyway!)

I've updated my figures for last month too and have knocked another month off my mortgage :j I definitely seem to have reached that point where even small amounts are making a noticable difference. I know it really does all help but I can 'see' the effects more the last few months

Anyone want more :coffee:? I know I do ;)

    Have a great weekend

    BW :)

Pleased that you're feeling better. I did reply to that message but it seems to have disappeared  MSE has been playing up this week though so maybe it wasn't the gremlins.

Well done on the op - every little helps. :) It's fab being able to see the difference isn't it. It really makes it all worthwhile.

Ooh yes please, I'd love a cuppa. I bought a new :coffee: today so it's the perfect time to try it out. I'll bring the white chocolate cookies. ;)

Hope you're having a good weekend.

Hi Bookworm, glad to hear you have had no more funny turns, I think the lighting in wards can make you go a bit funny too. Hope mum and baby are doing well.

Well done on knocking another month off too, that's great!

I'm the opposite, relish taking the grottiest mugs that I can find from our flat into work knowing that I'll drop or lose them eventually :rotfl:

Sorry to hear that you didn't win the lottery. As Mrs E and I say when a MB offer doesn't work, someone else has 'hogged the luck' ;)

I'll take that :coffee: if the offer stands...
