I have re-spayed classic cars using a cheap aldi compressor and spray gun but I have never done metalic paint. You could try spaying with grey primer after cleaning off the paint remover. Do one panel at a time.
I doubt it was Nitro Mors as that seems hopeless at removing paint since the Euro health and safety nuts removed the active ingredient.0 -
