:o i dont own a pair of heels, dressing up for me is swapping the wellys for trainers and adding a clean t shirt to go to asdas :rotfl::rotfl: i sound a right slob
You're another one! You have a happy and satisfied life.....that's obviousthere's absolutely nothing wrong with being happy and comfortable with who you are and how your life is. You have a hubby who loves you, kids who adore you. They see the beauty in you....what more do you need?
I love it that we have all had such different lives here, but when you strip all the superficial stuff back, we are all the same and the same things make us all happy0 -

I have to admit I own a few pairs of heels, but I have not been able to walk in them for 20+ years. I have make-up, but it must be toxic by now. I wear a silver necklace (from OH for our 25th) and a silver bracelet a gift from someone precious to me that I do not see any more. I go to work in scruff, usually I have a hole somewhere! I have been to the hairdressers, but less the 5 times in 25 years… thank god for curly hair!
I always think I would love to look great, but I would hate to have a life where I had the time to do this.100 -

Give me a pair of Docs any day:rotfl::rotfl:
Seriously......I spent years conforming to how I was supposed to look. It might have been drastic things that got me to where I am now, but it's liberating to be 'me' againI was a 'weirdo' at school and as a student. And after years of being suited and booted, it's nice to just be that weirdo again
:T
I do confess to also being a bit of a weirdo back at school as well:cool:
Lots of black, band tshirts, fish net tops and big chunky bootsI do still have my boots actually, I blinkin love those things like those only longer and with a couple more buckles  :rotfl::rotfl:
I've always fancied a pair of Docs right enough, but that's what OH lives in so would be kinda weird to go out with matching footwear, I don't think we're quite at that stage yet :rotfl:...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

I'm gonna have to start watching the reruns on Challenge and see if I can spot you
My Dad used to take the p right out of me with my baggy jeans and what not. At the time I was  as, but when you look back on it now it is a bit:rotfl:
Wouldn't change it for the world though, went to a lot of gigs and met some pretty cool people along the way...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

My dad got me a Donkey Jacket to go with my boots:rotfl::rotfl:.....oh how I loved the way he was never shocked at anything I wore
Bless him, when I was pregnant with DS1, he patiently painted my toenails navy blue for me to match an outfit I was wearing. Silly thing
I think of it every time I paint my toe nails
