Not on the app it doesn't as I am sat looking at it? Nationwide Flexplus Current Account - it even says explicitly in brackets no switch required? We appear to be looking at different accounts.

That said, I have had the account for a while, have had two switching bonuses over the years and recently Mrs Anon referred me and I switched another so we both got £50 :).

Now I have recommended Mrs Anon and we will switch another account for her to see if we can get another £50 each.

Just a word of caution on opening current accounts - only do this if your credit reference can take it, and don't go mad opening them if you are planning on applying for a mortgage as it may affect your chances (I don't know what effect it has but better to be safe than sorry!).

Other than that, it would be rude not to take up their offers :).

    Flippin heck.

Have you sorted out a payment plan with him?

    Well ….. sort of….

You know I am really soft with the kids, so I told him he has to pay for the last car and then we will be straight

I forgot to suggest board and lodgings! or the other thousands …

But to his credit he said that he nearly has enough to pay for his last car, and he bought himself new tyres today (without my credit card!!)

Not so far off myself. I have my wedding rings and one other special ring that never comes out of the box. I have one locket but the chain is broken the now and I haven't replaced/fixed it. I have loads of custom jewellery that has been given to me as gifts which I never wear either. I often wonder why folk buy me it when I never ever wear it ??

My mother, bless her.....used to buy me scarves. Usually gaudy and very colourful :D :rotfl::rotfl: She always used to say 'with those colours, it'll go with anything' I used to think ' with those colours it'll go with nothing' :rotfl::rotfl: I have a bag of them somewhere :o

Ok so how do I start - I have no accounts to switch.

I have the full allowance of nationwides - solo and joint.

Create a current account with any bank apart from Halifax.

Then open a Current Account or Reward Current Account with Halifax.

    Switch to Halifax.

    Job done.

Isn't it strange? I do like nice clothes and make up, toiletries and stuff. I think my previous shoe and handbag over buying habits might just have been my shopaholic tendencies, rather than actually liking what I was buying :o
I have never been a jewellery person. Or a blingy person. I have pierced ears but never wear earrings. I wear my wedding ring and silver ring my dad bought me as a teenager and I wear a silver chain with a daisy on it that Ive worn forever!! and a very nice but old watch. I never change any of them if I go out, I never buy or wear costume jewellery.
I do have quite a collection of lovely jewellery and I wear none of it :o my OH doesn't buy me it anymore :o

I do like nice clothes as well, I'm just not very good at dressing up :o Never been much of a girly girl really, I very rarely wear make up and I can't do heels, never mastered the art of walking in them :o I can't wear jewelry at work so end up not bothering on my days off, too much hassle!

    Selling myself well here aren't I?! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
