    Ok so how do I start - I have no accounts to switch.

    I have the full allowance of nationwides - solo and joint.
    I had solo and joint at N'Wide, and it still let me have another solo. Didn't know there was a max allowance.

    I do like nice clothes as well, I'm just not very good at dressing up :o Never been much of a girly girl really, I very rarely wear make up and I can't do heels, never mastered the art of walking in them :o I can't wear jewelry at work so end up not bothering on my days off, too much hassle!

    Selling myself well here aren't I?! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    i think i am worse so not girly do not wear jewellry even though i have a box full, not even my wedding ring :o:o:o have not worn make up for over 20 years at all and last time i went to the hairdresser was my wedding day 24 years ago :o:o:o i dont own a pair of heels, dressing up for me is swapping the wellys for trainers and adding a clean t shirt to go to asdas :rotfl::rotfl: i sound a right slob :o

    Yes, you can do that.

    Although M&S Bank are a little slower and you probably need to put in about 30 - 45 minutes effort to get your £100 gift card...unless you earn £100+ per hour...:cool:

    Apply online for their current account; wait a day to be accepted/rejected. If accepted, they'll send you a form to sign. You send it back, a few days later you'll get your debit card and PIN. You then ring them up to let them know you want to switch. You then get confirmation a few days letter via post of your switch, you then phone them again to 100% confirm the switch, and at this point, the switching process starts. You should get your gift card within 1 month of the switch completion date.

    By no means as quick as Halifax, but as mentioned, worth it for a £100 Gift Card for less than 60 minutes work.
    Thanks for that info Karlie!

    I've just applied to M&S so hope I'm accepted.

    Not at all! You are lovely just as you are and your OH obviously thinks so too! I don't like heels and I ditched them when I stopped working a couple of years ago. I'm no longer a slave to trying to walk in them :T:T
    Give me a pair of Docs any day :D :rotfl::rotfl:
    Seriously......I spent years conforming to how I was supposed to look. It might have been drastic things that got me to where I am now, but it's liberating to be 'me' again :D I was a 'weirdo' at school and as a student. And after years of being suited and booted, it's nice to just be that weirdo again :D

    I believe only one account at 5% (otherwise not sure of a limit).
