He won't take the job because he has no belief in himself . It's sad.....he used to command troops in a war situation and he hasn't the confidence to take a job doing something he's really good at

Depression can be such a dark cloud not only for those suffering from it but those around them. I hope for your OH some rays of sunshine find their way through sometime in the future. :A

It's a *big sigh* we are good right now! but I know he lies to me. In the darkest moments he has asked me to let him go.....accept that what's in his head is so bad, it's better than being alive I I can't even imagine feeling that bad
I do get angry I do remind him he has children to think about. It is a selfish illness. I don't sleep because I wake up checking......every night. I thought things were better, and good. But he drank some wine last weekend and said he waits on opportunities for us all to fall asleep but I won't! I won't give him the opportunity
