even sadder that he hid it so well and worked to such a high standard.
My OH was offered a job recently.....only 2 days a week, no pressure, a nominal wage and he won't take itwe don't need the money and that didn't come in to it. He won't take the job because he has no belief in himself
. It's sad.....he used to command troops in a war situation and he hasn't the confidence to take a job doing something he's really good at
it's despairing
No words sweetheart just big scottish squidgies being sent down xxxxx0 -

I I can't even imagine feeling that bad
I do get angryI do remind him he has children to think about. It is a selfish illness. I don't sleep because I wake up checking......every night. I thought things were better, and good. But he drank some wine last weekend and said he waits on opportunities for us all to fall asleep
but I won't! I won't give him the opportunity
This may sound odd but I think it is positive he can actually voice how he feels to you.
I have been under a dark cloud at one point in my life, and when you are there it is only you that can get yourself out of it. Without knowing details I would think your OH has been through much more that any human should really ever have to cope with it must be so hard for him to get to the brighter side of life.
He is lucky to have you to keep a watchful eye on him. :A0 -
