Not sure why another persons decision is an issue for you.

They can make whatever decisions they like, my issue is that they then complain about it.

over a quarter of the RM listings in the areas i'm following are reductions. with an election looming there is no time or political will to prop up prices in the short term. by the time they do intervene and the measures take effect the titanic will be a scattered mess littering the ocean floor...

Around 20-25% of properties in my local town (East Mids) have reductions. Some I'm ignoring as they were just priced wrong to start with - but that still leaves 15-20%. Highest cut is 11% and most are 5%.

Where office is based - 5 miles from end of tube line in Herts - about 20% with cuts, average around 7%. Jeez, just spotted a 3 bed flat there for 800k :rotfl:.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

people who think BTL is an "investment" usually don`t have any clue how to find other profitable investments.

Is that so? Then do elaborate, where are these 'profitable investments'? For the record my wealth is currently stored/invested as follows:

    2% cash
    9.5% DB pension
    19% shares
    20% home
    49.5% investment property

Isnt that the exact corollary of a person having made a decision and boasting about it?

    Plenty of that here.

If you don't like complaints (or boasts) then I think you're in the wrong place :-)

I'm not particularly interested in something that guarantees a loss.

    how are the shares going?
i'm down about 2% over the last 2 weeks or so.
with EU (our biggest trading partner) deflation and the end of US QE UK equities look a touch overvalued
