Hello Bubbles, sorry you felt down on your birthday. I think a lot of people feel a bit disappointed on their birthdays if life isn't going as they'd like it to. It makes you take stock. Same with Christmas.

New kitten sounds fab though :)

    Morning All :j

Its 7.30am and I am up, feeling energised and looking forward to knuckling down today - I am a tad surprised myself.

Just shows what a fall can do to my life and the magic hands of a massage therapist and an oestopath

Well firstly to report on that ...... I was a little taken aback when my massage therapist told me that she could only do about half of me.... I was in such a pickle . So I know I have to go back again in a fortnight :o this is rather than once a month. So extra dosh that will not go off clearing our joint debt . But I really cant complain as without them I would still be in a real state.

This last 10 days has though been a good period of reflection and thoughts about how I am going to look at things differently....

Great example from Tuesday. Waiting for a bus on my little mobility scooter, the first bus driver refused to take me as it was "electric" and the second completely ignored me. Finally I got on the third. I tweeted TFL and Boris, with a photo of first offending bus and number of second with the #discrimination. I got no response. Now the me of 12 days ago would be writing to aforementioned people. NOT TODAY .... I am going to let it flow past me ( perhaps incorporating it into a little blog) but I am not going to contact them, so I don't get let down by the lack/poor response that I am bound to get... I admit actually its a relief.... in my 47th year.... I am just going to let things go.......

I am also conscious that I need to push myself to get out more.... but doing the right things. Tomorrow driving half way round the M25 in rush hour to see a school friend isn't but going to the filming of the "Extra Slice" on Sunday is!

So now I need to make a list of what I am going to achieve today.... this will not include several hours sitting in front of the DVD watching "Waking the Dead" and knitting... even if this is destashing!

Making my first Christmas Card though has got to be.......

    Morning all

Sitting here with the heating on , big dressing gown and slipper socks... Feeling more cheery today as the sun is pouring in. Two fluff balls are curled up asleep. Second cuppa brewing.

I'm off to the local walled garden for my embroidery course ...... 4 hrs of bliss.

Yesterday didn't start well. I got up and was determined to use my new spine corrector Pilates equipment... But I should have known better as it set off a bount of vertigo.... I need to get up and settle my body vertically before trying to stretch spine backwards!

My day was cancelled... Lunch with friend, Mr Borrow My Doggy and I sent the cleaner home (taking my ironing).

The day was peaceful going back to bed and reading - sitting in one place - still to settle. Then hot shower, and a few domestic jobs including washing run out of bras

Finally sewed up a pair of trousers and listed several items on eb@y. As well as wrapping two I have sold... Couldn't believe how much St@r w@rs DVD went for ( under a tenner but still more than expected).

Finished the day completing a Christmas Card only 99 more to go:p.

We will not talk money as it appears to be leaking at the mo... That's for another post

    Or weight :(

Oh and I have the combination of inl@ws and Father at the weekend :o

Hmmm of to sew and forget....

    Afternoon all

I'm shattered and in pain :( and I am trying to fend off a low mood as I'm so frustrated with my body. I have not really done anything today and this week especially around generating income

    Today I have showered !
Sorted washing but OH had fed the machine and hang it out
Walked or scooted Mr Borrow My Doggy
    Watched Downton and knitted

OH is home so he provided me with breakfast and lunch :T:T

He's going to make me chicken and mushroom pie today with contents from freezer and fridge :T:T

( pastry will not reach my hips)

Have this week caught up on my debts

Owed to joint credit card paid off but still owed to joint account has seen no movement - £351.72

Mrs B pocket money account - overdraft maintaining at around £482.24

Mrs B personal Halifax - £101.05 - this is the one I am focusing on, and is decreasing steadily with nothing being added to. :T:T

Owed on Joint John Lewis £478.80 ( mostly clothes and hair)

Also added £145.00 for a wet cut and colour  yes I know that's expensive but actually it isn't for where I live, and it's the one thing that's keeps my morale up.

On the plus side. My Daddy paid for my Aunts ring to be adjusted and valued.

I have sold some items on eb@y with a profit of £2O so that can be transferred to Halifax CC

I'm running out of what I can sell on eb@y which is worthwhile.

Also I will add that my in laws gave me some cash for my birthday at the weekend... Can I say I have really mixed feelings about it. Don't get me wrong I am very grateful for it, and it went straight to paying off my embroidery course. My MIL rationalised that they had saved it til two weeks after the day to save me trying to bank a cheque. I understand this. Sadly though due to the nature of our relationship when the "usual" cheque wasn't in my card. I felt so rejected. There was no mention of pressie etc in card, text or phonecall. Now I was brought up not to expect anything... So I've had an internal battle ever since! A typical non communication example of my in laws. :o

This weekend..., we are taking Dad to the Savoy for tea for his 80th. Then a rugby BBQ at neighbours in the evening.

Sunday is a quiet day :T

The sun is shining I keep reminding myself I am blessed

It's been a whole month since my fall and it's only today I feel like life is becoming more productive.

    Awake at 6

    I've already.

    1. Had two cups of tea and now onto a cup of coffee:)
    2. Hang out bedding on aired that OH put on earlier.
    3. New load going in machine.
    4. Emptied recycling and flattened box that has been sitting outside for over a week :T ( needed scissor so much tape )
    5. Put the washed cover back on Mr Grumpy Cats radiator bed and having plonked him on it, he is now contentedly having a bath.
    6. Miss Big Eyes (kitten is under coffee table missing the OH) :o my birthday pressie his darling!
    7. made bed :rotfl: ( often I'm still in it! )
    8. Read one more chapter of Our Mutual Friend

    Weekend Review

    1. Supper pie was yummy
    2. Awoke at 5am Saturday morning with a great spasm under my right shoulder blade, agony and struggling to breath. Hot water bottle eased it, wanted to stay in bed and rest, but was taking Dad and friend to The Savoy for his birthday treat. So had no choice, went out with inflammation patch taped to the offending area :o, can't take things internally ( dodgy tummy ). Fortunately OH drove and we used valet parking, Dad insisted on paying and they charged as 1/2 price £10.00 - really cannot grumble being in central London.
    3. Tea was scrum my 4 courses and you could swap the French fancies courses for smoked salmon and poached egg which pleased my Daddy who is diabetic. Mind you he did eat extra scones !
    4. Awkward moment about money - will do a separate post.

Tea was not :money: however, my Dads friend who has made my Dads life so much happier had never been and she just loved the experience ( it was her 80th birthday too this year) and my Dad much prefers doing things with us rather than presents he doesn't need or want. So it was good value in so many other ways

We came home to a BBQ ... I rather would have stayed in to watch Strictly...

Mmm my morning has ground to a halt. I've had attack of vertigo and so sitting here trying not to do anything with my upper limbs and drinking copious amounts of water and feeling very fed up.

I have had to cancel my Pilates one-to-one at 12 o'clock as I cannot drive.

However I am counting my blessings as on the news a large via in a road not far from me has seen a fatality and this is the leader of the council.

This will make sense as I'm using dictation on the iPhone.

I have such a long list of things to do and here I am reading the book as it only useful thing to do 😒
