beanielou Miss skippy is a British Blue Short Hair - so a blueygrey

She is currently looking at me in disgust from the dressing table..l am on the bed having a coffee break.

She is confined to our bedroom - she's not happy as the cleaner is here and there is a lot of noise outside as the cleaners OH the gardener has lots of noisy equipment - we are in a bungalow so loud!

She has come from a breeder - OH choice as he has fallen in love with the breed, his pennies have been saved. Although it has been stated that she's my birthday present.

the breeder - lived in a very small chalet bungalow - the sort designed for one person - small kitchen and one room downstairs and bathroom bedroom up... She had at least 12 mummy cats and 6 cages for kittens all but one were filled. Have to say though all were in good condition, very clean and well presented home if at least busy... Did I mention at least 4 dogs !!!!!!

Hello diary

I am still awake it's my birthday and I'm feeling really miserable.

I feel I have very little to look forward to, I had a �� of a day as my friend on text said to me tonight. For the first time ever I am not looking forward to my birthday

Doesn't help that my body feels as crap as my feelings.

I am fed up with battling keeping a brave face on everything.

I know I need to count my blessings, and I've lot to be thankful for, however it's a very lonely place being stuck in doors, in pain and fatigue.

Apologies I laid in bed not able to sleep and I'm so not wanting to go to sleep to wake up and pretend it's ok yet again....

Am not great at inspirational pep talks either, so ok; it's your birthday, you're allowed to feel disappointed if you want - for a while, anyway. But I hope your new kitten comes along demanding attention and makes you laugh with her antics. If all else fails, furry pets are great for mopping up tears! (((hugs)))

Hopefully your family will surprise you with special gifts or treats which will lift your spirits, and you'll be back later telling us life ain't so bad after all..
Maybe it's time for a new start - make that list you spoke about earlier - of things you'd like to achieve in the next year, starting today? Positive things, that is. Small changes which build up, each one upon the last.

Anyway, with any luck your insomnia has passed, you're now enjoying a good night's sleep - and everything will look brighter in the morning..
