Oh BM hope you feel better soon. Mr SA is on PIP as DLA had finished when he claimed. They must've been content with report from his consultant as he was never assessed. I'm sure you won't have anything to worry about. They're trying to weed out the malingerers.

Sorry to hear you haven't been good BM. I think everyone is worried about the DLA/PIP changeover. Is yours soon? Xx

    Not just the malingerers sadly.
    They have targets to meet.

Hi there BM - just checking in on you to see if you're ok. You've not posted for a while.

Beanie - I suppose they are like all government departments with their targets. I work in one myself so know the score (although they seem to want me to do less work at the moment, bless 'em). I just hope the genuine cases don't lose out.

    Morning dear diary and readers

    Sorry been absent without leave:)

Holidays and coming back down to earth is my excuse....

I am now back on the MSE path....

It's raining here.... Which the garden needs but I'm a little :o as I've appreciated the sun and been working out in our summer house.

I'm feeling a little bit :o this morning also because we had a BBQ for the neighbours last night and it was hard work. My good leg is really painful this morning and I feel all twisted ... I was on my feet a lot.... We tried to keep the numbers manageable and they helped out but......

So a quiet day for me .... Looking at money, making to do lists etc ....
    Watch this space.

Just checking in BM, nice to see you back here.

I'm glad you had a nice BBQ but time to put your feet up!

DLA/PIP change over seems to be causing a lot of problems for lots of people. PIP is focused even more on physical disability and almost excludes a lot of hidden disabilities/mental illnesses just by it's scoring system. A lot of people are waiting on appeals for long stretches of time which also increases the pressure and stress on them. :( I know families who have young adults with autism and behavioural issues that certainly can't work and need constant supervision to keep them safe that have had their DLA stopped when applying for PIP :( It really isn't just as simple as weeding out the malingers unfortunately.

    Evening all

It took me 5 hours to clear the kitchen..... With lots of breaks, allowing me to catch up on diaries and threads on here !

    I can report a NSD!

Determined to not buy anything more food wise except a few bits for a picnic on Sunday ( going to the O2 we normally buy a meal there but determined to take picnic instead).

This may mean that sticking to my no carbs diet will be tricky.

    Today

    Finished up shr3ddies for breakfast.
Had left over salad tapas and ham for lunch.
Plus packet jelly that I had made into individual portions at weekend.
Fishcakes from freezer plus left over salad again.

Found you can freeze wine, if in container so froze about a glass left in bottle so can poach fish in at a later date.

Going through a cupboard - made space for my projector (gift at Christmas) - realised got rid of loads of games, and now just have 5 jigsaws to do then sell/give away.

Looking at putting things on eBay.

Sold a post hat last week... Pleased it's gone but slightly disappointed it didn't raise more dosh (£20 including P&P) it cost over £100 a decade ago!

Now debating putting my velvet music ball circa 1970 on 3bay and my childhood records.... Is it worth the hassle?

Shoulder hurting so will wave goodnight
