    Morning

Since being off work - I have been struggling with my emotions - something I've talked About with my counsellor. There is one particular relationship that is a rollercoaster ride with me and that is my father. his actions often make me sad and upset I know he does not do this purposely but it still hurts.

This morning I decided it was going to be good start and setup a spreadsheet thanks to my regimes with Gretchen Rubin and happiness project.

It is titled dailyweeklyroutines and currently on the list is:
morning tea, reading, shower, hair/face,breakfast ,vitamins, teeth

office bank balances, correspondence, scanning and my MSE spreadsheet (decluttering)

Then I have daily chores making bed,Hang clothes up, washing, kitchen tidy, dishwasher, washing up, fridge , supper, recycling bins , compost bins, decluttering

Water I am aiming to drink 8 glassed a day

Work bank balances, correspondence (yet to complete)

I have achieved many things on this list this morning :T

Then an email, from Father, and it's made me  and :(. All relating to his zero birthday. Plans that I thought we had agreed on his birthday and mine, he has completely forgotten about and arranged other things. I feel rejected.

So I need to acknowledge - that this happens and I need to accept it and move on, let go of the emotion and not dwell.

I've replied telling him I am sad. And now I need to focus on my to do list.

I have just read this on the not buying it thread from 29/12 by Floxxie

"I have spent my whole life being told that I must be educated and get a well paying job to be successful. Having these did not make me happy and did not move my life any further forward"

This so resonates with me and so I just wanted to record this to remind myself that I am doing ok
