    Morning (just)

Not a lot happening here but I'm about to make lunch for the littlies. Need to empty DW and put another wash on. We've been to the park with the bikes for an hour and now they are playing MarioKart.

Spoke to my mum who has booked for us to go camping next weekend. I will come back for work and she will keep the kids up there for a day or two. It's only an hour away. She's booked the pitch for 2 weeks so we can come and go as the weather dictates and just leave the caravan and awning up there.

So that's something to look forward to.

    Right - lunch!

Dot was dressed just before that last post and has already been redressed twice!.. and she is naked again!
Mr LW's pal's youngest boy was like that; he would not stay dressed. Thankfully he grew out of it eventually - just as well, he's now 15 years old, built like a brick s**thouse, and plays rugby!:D Seriously though, I hope you can get Dot to behave with a little more decorum; she sounds like seriously hard work right now.:o

I did laugh at the last of today's suggested "extra" tasks - it's a jolly good thing I kept my loose-elasticced, saggy bras; they're the only ones loose enough for me to put on backwards, twizzle round and then put the straps up. ALL the ones that have decent elastic and actually fit, I need Mr LW's help with! So at least I have three I can wear while he's not able to assist me.:D

Bless him, he's cleaned all the shed out today; he had everything out on the patio, got the little hand-held vacuum and cleaned with it, evicted all the spiders, the whole nine yards!:A He's now gone to the cherry farm to get us some cherries.

Jasper's being picked up at 14:00; after that we shall pop to Mr T for the last cram-the-fridge-and-cupboards-with-stuff-to-keep-us-going shop. It's the Farmers Market this Sunday, so we shall be well stocked with cheese and eggs, and we'll get an extra jar of honey (we buy from a local beekeeper) - then I think we're all set, food-wise.:)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

The June/July Challenge is officially over. Any final amendments to the list of achievements can still go on until the end of the week, but when next week's listy is up and running, I won't be revisiting it. So, roll up, roll up for your last chance, folks.

OH and I are completely mystified as to who has snaffled a dinner plate. We treated ourselves to a new set from a supermarket in France while on my birthday visit and have eight in the kitchen, four in the attic for when we have lots of guests. We also have four over at the chalet which will soon be back here when I've found some others in a CS that will [STRIKE]match[/STRIKE] go with what I've already found (very mix and match at the chalet). Only, we can only find seven in the kitchen. So that means someone probably broke one and then sidled the broken bits out of the house! Very weird behaviour, as I don't think either of us is so scarey people couldn't just tell us.

Kitchen sink bowl bottom being bleached. I can't find another that fits, so this one has to be cleaned up quite a bit.
    Better is good enough.

Finances updated and it wasn't as bad as I feared. Now its time to go get washed, dressed and do the ironing. DD is engrossed in a DVD and constantly moaning she's hungry. I swear she has hollow legs! Actually might go and put some rice on for her to have for lunch, hopefully that'll fill her.

LW.. Moomin was always naked too, from about 14 months until she was about 3.5. She was a lovely little girl though and well behaved apart from the constant climbing on everything.. Dot is NOT well behaved.. she is really sweet and loving but almost breaks people with enthusiasm while being loving. She beats the baby and squeak and tortures the cats when no one is looking. She gets in the DW and WM and TD and cupboards and under beds and in drawers, she just destroys everything.. She is very hard work... apparently OH was 'a bit of a handful' when he was little.. I'm not sure if it was a lack of discipline and boundaries which there obviously was or something else.

OH needs a new Mouse... he is SO hard to find them for because his hands are so big normal ones he cannot use. Mine is tiny and weighs nothing!

    Washing out on the line.

    HHC anyone??
