    Hello Ladies!

We are back having had a wonderful holiday (albeit some rather noisy guests in our hotel but other than that a good time was had by all).

This week I shall be mostly doing laundry. I have a few days at home with my small people who are just doing their own thing - but they have asked to make biccies so we can do that this afternoon. They just want their toys and to please themselves really. Holidays are hard work ;)

As expected I'm feeling a lot better about "things" although am resolved to take things a little more easy for myself. Hence even though having been home 48hrs and would normally have the washing dried, ironed and out away by now, I haven't even finished all the washing. And have done none of the ironing :T there are toys everywhere and I'm not bothered.

Right now though, I have a kitchen full of meat (butcher delivery for my near-empty freezer) so I shall be portioning up and doing a spot of cooking. Beef in slow cooker chicken pieces in oven and stir fry on hob. Need to split the sausages up - there must be about 100! I chose a "lean combi" so that's me dieting, lean meat, kicking the carbs into touch and no more sugary carp.

So although I'm not list-flying, I'd like to come back please. Missed you all heaps xxx

Thanks, Piggers. He's also been told about NOT lifting or pushing anything for 3 weeks, NOT driving for one to two weeks (depending how he heals) and NOT trying to do things before he's ready.
Now, where did I put those bungee ropes??:D
Oh, and a gi-huge mouse, now, after your invading rat? What next, a capybara, perhaps?

SOMam never mind, hun, we all have those sort of days - take a time-out and start fresh in the morning.;)

I'm logging off now; got a small mountain of washing up in the kitchen, then Jasper will want a walk.:T

Don't worry if I'm not online tomorrow, ok folks.;)

Lovely to see you back Bossy Moo! And what I said about Vanilla and Bonny goes for you too, but I thought you'd signed off for a bit longer than a day or two after your holiday! I've dutifully nagged regarding the Challenge and updated as appropriate but I don't have you deftness of touch.

Valli's store visited and appropriate transactions transacted and the lovely old-fashioned cobblers in the lower end of the city centre visited with two pairs of shoes which I can now wear again. And that's about it for the flying, really, today. I'm feeling the heat or *something* so I'm going to catch up on the women's gymnastics and then watch Louis et al do their thing on the pommel horse.
    Better is good enough.

Welcome home, in all respects, Bossy, I was wondering just this morning how things were in the Land of Moo.

I have been to work and there is boys bedding strewn everywhere, thankfully it's almost dry so I will endeavour to get them remade before I go to bed tonight. We've just had a wicked thunderstorm and the air is feeling so much fresher for it, I'm sure I'll be fresher too once I make it into the shower :D

Time for a brew and a potter.

Bossy.. good to see you back and we have a few flying their own path.. do what is right for you the lists are just a guide for those who are too indecisive to start..

LW.. my stepdad is totally unable to sit still, he almost had a breakdown when he was in hospital after his heart attack because of 'work' and all these 'things' that needed doing... he couldn't even walk more than about 10 yards without being exhausted at the time! He has always been a pest! I highly recommend bungee cords or sewing him to the chair :)

All my pots were clean.. then I cooked dinner, so one run through tonight should see it all done.

I am at my wits end with Dot.. she won't wear clothes.. she was after being naked in B&Q yesterday... She won't use toilets away from home other than grannies and only 1 of hers is acceptable.. her behaviour is getting beyond a joke, its not cute or funny and her sleeping is killing us.. we got to bed at 1am and she was up at 2am.. So she had only had 5 hours sleep.. I got to stay in bed with Pixie thankfully!
