Not a NSD but still feeling very pleased with myself as I got invited to the pub after work (DANGER!!!), however I had deliberately left the house with only £2 in my wallet and no cards on me.
I went along for a couple of hours, was bought a pint of ale by my workmate and bought myself a packet of crisps and half a lime and soda. Total spend: £1.95!!!
Great result as normally I'd have spent about £8 on drinks (it was an expensive pub) plus everyone got food, so I'd have probably got food too. Would have been a spend of at least £15 had I not left the cards at home.
Not taking cash/cards out is definately the way forward for me :jStarting 2016 debt-free
Emergency Fund: £350/£10000 -
I'm up to
13 NSD's
And would like to change my goal to 20
I've forgot to post for a few days but have been keeping track.
Had a spendy day today and yesterday but been on days out,
tomorrow may also be a spending day but as I'm taking a trip to IKEYA I told myself if there isn't anything I need or of use to me, I won't buy it.NSD 3/25 | SA: £38.00 | EF: 38.130 -

Today is NSD#15
Is it really bad that, due to awful weather ever since we returned from holidays,we haven't unpacked the car of enough camping stuff/bags of clothes/tins of food/cooking stuff/teddy bears to fit myself and 4 kids in to go to shops/cinema/supermarkets/other spendy places.:o
Thought so............SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76
Pinecone £301,Valued Opinions £10.500 -
NSD #5 -not planned, but the car is on the blink, and all the local garages are booked up, so we're stuck at home ( public transport is very poor here, and very expensive) Also poorly child needed to be at home.
So dinner was again whatever was in the freezer/cupboard. Maybe I will manage my target for August!0 -
