I am Welsh first, British second and European last!

    Don't see a problem.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

I blame the 1707 act of union for your problem

I am Scottish and i was born in Scotland and both of my parents were Scottish, but because of the act of union Scotland is part of the united kingdom and i am a British citizen but my nationality is Still Scottish

because of the English desire to control the Scots, Scotland and England united to form the Kingdom of Great Britain

so it is the English that are to blame for this problem

What is England if it isnt a country

England is a country that forms a part of The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, normally referred to as The United Kingdom

the united Kingdom is made up of four countries, England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

The term Great Britain refers to the land mass that is England, Scotland, and Wales and if you live in great Britain you are a British citizen

you may be from England and claim your nationality is English, but due to the 1707 act of union you are now considered to be British
the Two Kingdoms of Scotland and England shall upon the first day of May next ensuing the date hereof and forever after be United into One Kingdom by the Name of Great Britain And that the Ensigns Armorial of the said United Kingdom be such as Her Majesty shall appoint and the Crosses of St Andrew and St George be conjoined in such manner as Her Majesty shall think fit and used in all Flags Banners Standards and Ensigns both at Sea and Land

it all the Fault of the English :rotfl:

England is not a sovereign state as we are a member of the United Kingdom. The official countries vary depending on who's list you use, I personally always stick to the UN list. In this list there is no such country as England, we are part of the United Kingdom. Therefore I assume this website (as do many) work off this list and therefore don't allow England as as option. In surprised you haven't come across this before.

While I consider myself English I'm not pedantic enough to complain I can't enter it into a form.

    England = English
    Great Britain = British
    United Kingdom = Kingdomish

    So I am Kingdomish.

Or a "bit kingdom". English is a silly language.

Looks like this is the best answer and England isnt a country after all, not in the recognised sense.

    you learn something every day

Ditto, but with English in place of Welsh.
