No you're not as we're not an independent nation. We are part of Great Britain. People in Scotland are voting for it to become an independent nation, I suggest you campaign the same for England if you truly want to have an English nationality.Bedsit_Bob wrote: »But there is a Scottish Parliament, yet the form doesn't list "Scottish" as an option
Because they are not an independent nation as of yet!0 -

England is not an independent nation, Great Britain is.
Great Britain isn't an independant nation either. It's part of the "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland".0 -

As with a lot of firms they use a country list derived from the list of sovereign states recognised by the UN.
Neither Scotland, Wales, England or NI are recognised as such but the UK or GB is with a nationality of British.
The separate countries of the UK are not recognised as sovereign states because, although some of them may have their own parliament, none of them, as stand alone entities, are represented by a single centralised government. they all come under the overarching UK governmentThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. This reminds me of the early days of CB before it became legal in the UK (i.e. England Scotland Wales and N. Ireland to avoid any further confusion).
Anybody else remember "one niner for an argument"?
Monty Python did something similar too - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQFKtI6gn9Y0 -
