His parents are in their 70's, his mum really needs all her children close to her right now and his dad isn't in the greatest of health. I can still get to work from there too. Gives us more time to save/pay off debt & me to set up my business. Looking at it I don't think we will be prepared enough to move to Cumbria in March so it does make financial sense as well as emotional sense.
Sounds like a good decision to make all around and Cumbria will always be there just means when you do go you'll be in a better financial position and have more flexibility over how you do it. Hope everything improves for your family, sounds like a very tough timeSantander 0% £1,529.94

Thank you, I could see my husband being torn between being there for his parents/siblings and wanting to move to Cumbria for us. So I did a little research into a compromise. The firsts are always going to be the hardest so I thought that he should be around for that.
Now I just have to tell my mum that we won't be there in March, I'm sure she will understand but she really had her heart set on us being up there.
On the practical side we haven't paid off as much or saved anything and we want to have at least 3 months expenses in the bank so we have some breathing space when we get up there. We also both want to learn to drive and get a car as this will open up more job opportunities, make it easier to get around and won't limit us on where we can live. That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

Mr T delivery arrives friday we have virtually run out of all the basics. I have also decided to buy some commercial cereals, this will make the mornings when I don't have time to do eggs or porridge so much easier. I have also been craving cheerios and cornflakes, so win win!
I will be reducing the amount of pasta that I have been eating lately as I am starting to feel a bit sluggish. Time to reel in the carbs and up the exercise!!That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

Hey you seem to eat a lot of nakd bars. That's something you could easily change up and see if it makes a difference? I eat them too but tend to have them once a week or so as a treat. I don't think I could lose if I was having them more frequently going on their nutritional info. Just an observation, might help!
I had the strangest cravings for a bowl of cereal the other day as well very strange as not even a cereal person - never was!0
