  • while I didn't complete the exercise that I wanted to do over the weekend, I am happy that each day I managed B/L/D and snacks. I am also more prepared today in relation to food.

A new week - exercise tonight for sure!! Think this week will be a turning point.

Would be nice to hear how other people stay motivated.

Really did not want to do my exercise last night so I just made myself get changed into my workout gear when I got home. Put me more in the frame of mind for it and I did my workout while waiting for my dinner to cook. Felt so good after if not a little sore. Still struggling with the push-up and weights part's my arms feel like jelly. I'm also getting better at the skipping parts.

  • Im on day two of the '3 day military diet'...just thought id try it as im off for a few days. You should have a look at a web site caled pinterest as there is a fitness section. You can also put in recipies or whatever and it will definitely give you ideas. Keep you motivated. Im trying to walk more daily and plan on buying an exercise bike.

Just checked out the military diet  I would have chewed my arm off by lunch time on the first day. It looks like a similar premise to 5:2 diet.

Well done on increasing your exercise I remember not being tall enough to reach the peddles on the gym bike even with the seat set to the lowest :rotfl: made me feel like I was 5.

Thanks I will check pinterest out. I find I can very quickly talk myself out of exercise if I let myself. I have to be very firm and put my foot down. If only other people could hear the arguments inside my head between new me and old me.

  • I've just had a look at the military diet too - I know I eat too many biscuits, but I don't think I could cope without more food than that!!

My friend does the 5:2 diet, I've been low carbing and we've lost about the same amount of weight; I don't think it matters what you do to be honest, as long as it works for you.

I had an op a couple of weeks ago and haven't been back to the gym since, hopefully soon though!
Finally debt free!! March 2018 :j
