I find your diary very interesting, but am intrigued to know why you have cream in your coffee? Is it better than milk (maybe more protein)
Also, how do you track your steps / stairs etc. Is it with a Fitbit? I'm looking at (maybe) buying one and would love to know how people are getting on with them
SG
Hi SG,
I always used to get so bloated and uncomfortable after a coffee and I have always put up with it because I love my coffee but I decided that enough was enough and it really wasn't doing me much good. I tried having coffee just black but it was nasty so I thought I would give cream a go and haven't had an issue since. It also tastes a lot nicer.
My body doesn't handle lactose well and I have since discovered that the higher the fat content the lower the lactose. So this may be why I can tolerate cream, butter and cheese etc.
I use a pedometer to track steps, definitely worth the money I paid for it. I also count every time I take the stairs (I work on 4th floor) instead of taking the lift and I also have to navigate quite a few steps using the underground.
I have considered a fitbit it's just the cost that puts me off. If they came down in price I may buy one but for now I am happy with my trusty pedometerThat voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

I already have something similar that I use when I go running. I have only used the stop watch function. Will have to play around and experiment as I know it has a sensor on the side.

Hi and welcome,
Yes I have tried slimming world twice in the past and I find I get to a point, plateau and cannot get past it. I adapted most of my meals to be slimming world friendly and the recipes have stayed the same. I cook from scratch so it is pretty easy to do.
I really struggled with getting my dairy intake requirement. That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

I find this difficult too. My motivation starts to wane after a few days and I start to crave things I shouldn't. I find keeping up with exercise the most difficult especially waking up at 5am or after a full days work. That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!
