Porting number to Vodafone - still waiting!!!!

You shouldn't have to, no. As the PAYG account you had will just have a the 'new' number you have ported in

Vodafone on-line will not let me re register my account. This is getting more trouble than its worth!!!

Have you tried logging in with your existing username and password?

On Friday last I went through to Customer Services and asked them to set up a new account for my ported number (on-line form did not work!!) They said I would receive a temporary password by email so I could use the account to check on my PAYG balance etc. Now Tuesday I am still waiting for that password!! Just what is going on at Vodafone.


I hope Lee picks up this post, after almost 3 weeks he did manage to get my port up an running!! I thank him for that.

Pistonvalve: Is everything working now? I need to 'park' a T-Mobile number for a month or so and a PAYG vodafone sim would be the perfect place. IF they port it correctly as i really cant afford to lose it.
