Friday 9am Guess what!! Nothing, no porting the deadline (another came and gone) Yesterday evening 10pm. I have received two standard messages saying the number is being ported, no idea when these came in as I have been told to keep the phone switched off.
If (and a big if) it happens on Monday 4th August then it will be two weeks from the date I completed the on-line form. I am beginning to despair this port will happen.
I hope some exec from Vodafone is listening (or reading) JUST WHAT IF GOING ON, Ofcom say this process should take 1 DAY.

Just been on to customer services The request is with the porting team but there are severe delays, could take weeks, they are not giving time scales. So much for the Ofcom 1 day. Nobody seems to know anything!!

Thats vodafone for you. I take it the porting process has begun and your number is dead on the old network. If its still working i suggest you cancel the port and go elsewhere. This is likely to be the start of your vodafone problems, not the end.0

O-dear!! I was with BT Mobile but they closed down in March, but I was able to get a port code from them. Chose Vodafone because their network 2G/3G covers my area the others don't - well very low signal levels.
It seem to me that Vodafone people are running around like headless chickens at the moment - not enough staff, holidays etc.

Two week ago, I should add it was BT Mobile Pay-As-U-Go, all their pre-pay services closed. So the PAC code has another 14 days to go, if Vodafone don't 'pull their finger out' I will have to get another code from BT - do I lose my place in the queue?
