Wednesday 6th August, into the 3rd week of this saga. Well as you might have guessed no port yesterday so can we believe anything Vodafone tell us? I look forward to Lee's update.

Mike.
Have they at least told you what the problem is? I hope they are going to say sorry in a very generous way for what appears to be appalling service.0 -
Had a response from Lee today. 'the delay is being investigated' I have no idea what the problem is. If Lee knows he is not telling me. He is monitoring this post so I hope many people will comment on this appalling service!! Thank you Techhead. Come Monday it will be 3 weeks, so much for Ofcom's one day.

Have a look here:
http://stakeholders.ofcom.org.uk/telecoms/numbering/guidance-tele-no/number-portability-info/mobile-number-portability/
You can then click on the links to the agreed process that operators must use. Vodafone have failed to follow the process (possibly the other network has as well)
I would certainly make your views known to Ofcom. Hope your number port will be sorted soon.0 -
Hi Mike,

Lee, you have been looking at this for some days now, surely you must know what is going on. Please share with me on here or by phone today. A delay of nearly 3 weeks cannot be acceptable I would have thought to Vodafone.

Update from Lee, Vodafone have changed my temporary number (the one with all the credit on) to another number in order to try again to port my own number. They sight technical problems for this change. I have asked Lee to make sure all my PAUG credit moves as well!! The port should happen tomorrow Friday 8th August by 4pm. We will see.

Success well partly! My ported number is working, but I am not able to check if my PAYG credits have moved to my number. Is my Vodafone account still with the old number? Do I have to re register my account with my ported number?
