Porting number to Vodafone - still waiting!!!!

Hi, Filled in the form on the Vodafone website and submitted in Monday this week. Now Thursday no port yet - how long should this take? Been on to their customer services who say they are having problems with porting. Given me a £10 credit and promised by the end of the day. Is this a typical porting problem?

Now Friday and still no port. What should I do next?

Porting via web site does not work!! Given details to customer services and had a conformation that the number will be ported on Tuesday next. We will see. Another £15 compensation given making a total of £25 so far. I cannot wait till Tuesday.

Read a few complaints about non porting, half porting on the e forum seem to be a frequent issue. Hope it goes through for you soon.0

Tuesday has come and gone!! I have now been promised it will happen today!! Can't wait till 10pm this evening Well another £5 added to my PAUG credit making a total £30 so far I just wish Vodafone would do the job.

Now 4.00 no port so far. I have replied to LEE at Vodafone no answer back!! I now wait till 10PM - will there be a port today, any bets!! Is there a porting delay record?

At least you've got lots of PAYG credit! I'm hoping this isn't the number you are porting though or it will be pointless! :rotfl:

That's what you need to put in the subject line of the contact form, it's not the reference number. The reference number should be sent to you in an automated reply.
Edit: Looking at past reference numbers posted, it should be seven digits long and possibly start with 7.0
