Apparently the database transfer of driver details to Swansea was only 96% successful, which is why people are having problems.
should that not read... "Apparently the database transfer of driver details to Swansea was only 96% done, which is why people are having problems.
Successful would have been 100% with no problems

No only 96% of the records migrated successfully.warmhands.coldheart wrote: »should that not read... "Apparently the database transfer of driver details to Swansea was only 96% done, which is why people are having problems.

I've been taxing my car online for the past 3 - 4 years. As long as a current MOT and insurance is registered it is a doddle !!!

It's the migration of the DVLNI info over to the DVLA system that's causing problems for drivers in Northern Ireland Cyberman.... no problems in GB, just some in Northern Ireland0 -
Apparently a big part of the problem has been that NI records held shades of colours ie azure blue, sapphire blue, whilst Swansea just holds record as blue. Therefore these records did not migrate - the computer said no!

I am reliably informed it could take two months at least for all outstanding records to be migrated.0 -

NAR where did you get this information from? As far as I remember the colours on the NI system was a drop down the clerk could only put in certain colours. Is this info from DVLA? Blaming NI and DVA again after it seems very obvious that the problem relates to the Swansea system not being tested very well for compatibility.0
