you thought it so it leads me to think well yes why slam it down so hard otherwise.
oh never mind.
I cant be bothered with this no longer, I don't wanna read what everelse you post you not worth the time.0 -
Was it not you that said it was not "all"(quotation marks for clarity;)) there? So cant be perfect. Your realise this but wish to argue for arguements sake. So be it.
:rotfl:
Yes, I did post "all". A "perfect" list is one that fulfills ALL the specified criteria.
Do you understand this first point or do I need to break it down further?
Now, your specified criteria was that it contained things that I disagree with.
Does that sentence specify an amount of things? I didn't think so.
So, now let's check together if all the criteria were met.
Hmm, did the list contain multiple things that I disagree with? Yes, it did, it contained exactly 9 things I disagree with.
Are there any more criteria you set out? Nope, didn't think so.
Now, to recap, did I fulfill every single criterion you set? Yes, I believe I did. To clarify, did I miss any criterion out in this list?
Well, you seem to think I didn't post enough, but as you didn't post a requirement as to the number of things I included, I think you'll find that my list is perfect.Your realise this but wish to argue for arguements sake.0 -

That still does not make sense. What doesnt apply to mg? Jealousy? This is not clear.
as for the second sentance are you saying words to the effect of "the lady doth protest too much"? Spakespear who'd thought it?
Anyway in premptive answer to that; I sick by my guns, thought that would be clear by now.0 -

quite simply; its impossible to be perfect if its incomplete. You have been undone by you own words.
*sigh*
I gave the oxford english dictionary definition of "perfect" earlier which mentioned nothing of the sort.
You have been undone by your inability to read what I'm posting! :rotfl:0 -

Incomplete cannot be perfect or are you saying it can?
The list could well have been enough but isnt perfect by any stretch.0 -
And the google definition of incomplete includes imperfect. Now being out done by your own words and methods.0

Its a well known saying. And to purcase something for an amount which could get them a better vehicle is rather foolish wouldnt you agree?
The woman had already bought the car. What was your "value add" by saying what you did - other than to try to look smart.
And who are you to define better? Honest John rates it at 4/5 - the same as an X5. The plus is "unique coupe and SUV style and handles amazingly well". The negative is "Not as practical as an X5". So maybe the "better" to the woman was that it was different looking for an X5? Why does "better" have to be "more practical"? What if "more practical" isnt important to her?
why does that make the woman stupid just because her view differs from you.
Oddly, just like on here - i'm an "idiot" because i dared to correct your perception - yet you cant actually tell us what your problem really is.0 -
That was said alot but it fails the basic logic test. How does jealousy work? Being envious of something someone else has, in this case a car is somehing that potentially a person could be jealous of. However the suggstions made by my self included vehicles of a similar monetry value which would indicate a prefrence of the suggested vehicle rather than envious feelings towards the ops vehicle. So that falls apart. And thats just another thing you got wrong mg. unless you can tell me other wise.
Oh come on, your big beef was the woman had just dropped £44K on a car, so you had to say her choice of car was crap and she was a fool, because she should have bought something "more practical"!
What does it really matter what she bought?
You just came across as the green eyed monster, then, as usual couldnt back down and had to just keep repeating the same line "but but but its crap because its not practical".0 -
atrixblue.-MFR-. wrote: »Hmm wasn't it you who went all well that car is carp you don't want one of them etc etc etc etc making yourself look a like a jealous idiot and ever more so for mentioning that scenario.
Indeed.
Plus the similarities to this thread are interesting - makes an attempt at a massive put down to look smart, gets called on it, cant defend it, so just keeps repeating it like thats going to make him right.0
