You sure I said cheaper was better? There are similar priced vehicles (x5) which is more user friendly for several reasons. You disagree if you want, people like to argue with me but but to delcare all the reveiws that say the same wrong is niave.
Reviews say its not very practical - they dont say its a bad car.
You equated not very practical with it being a bad car or a poor choice (making the purchaser a fool).
If someone is happy enough with that and otherwise likes the car, what odds?
What makes them a fool - other than having a different opinion than you?0 -

And their in lies your problem.
Because people dont have the same opinion as you, they're a fool or an idiot.
Even when the opposing opinion as yours is valid, you just cant accept that and back off.
Its a well known saying. And to purcase something for an amount which could get them a better vehicle is rather foolish wouldnt you agree?0 -

Oh aye no doubt. It was a bit of a case of green eyed monster though so he had to say something bad about it, and like this thread, couldnt let go - just kept droning on with the same point over and over again "but, but, but they're not practical". They're not as practical as others in their class but if someone buys one / wants to buy one, who are we to try to pee on their parade?
Each to their own and all that.
That was said alot but it fails the basic logic test. How does jealousy work? Being envious of something someone else has, in this case a car is somehing that potentially a person could be jealous of. However the suggstions made by my self included vehicles of a similar monetry value which would indicate a prefrence of the suggested vehicle rather than envious feelings towards the ops vehicle. So that falls apart. And thats just another thing you got wrong mg. unless you can tell me other wise.0 -

It being carp doesnt make me jealous though does it? The two arent intrinsically linked.0 -
