That comment says far more about you than anything else, pity there does not seem to be "ignore user" for this forum.
There is, go to "User CP" (just above the thread title) then under "settings and options" you can "edit ignore list"

You can also click on their user name, "view public profile" then "user lists" will give the option to ignore or add to contacts.0 -
Just a point which may or may not be relevant in this case....
Royal Mail have been offering half price parcel postage to Drop and Go customers. This is OK for me as all my listings are P&P inclusive.
Just wondered if the price on the label would show the full price or the discounted price?
If it's the latter it could cause problems.0 -
It's only 50% off one service, medium parcels over 2kg. 25% off one special delivery service. It also ends on July 27th. Not that it was much of a deal anyway.Just a point which may or may not be relevant in this case....

I prefer to accept responsibility for overpaying if, in hindsight, I have.....
I don't cry over spilled milk, I don't like being treated like a child, if I'm suspicious of the postage charges I take this up with the seller before the transaction is complete.
But the OP was not happy paying that.
The seller is hardly going to tell them if they message, oh yeah, it's really £3.90?

You miss the point, the buyer WAS happy to pay the £12. They have stated that in the OP.
They would also have paid £30 for the item with free postage.
The buyer was happy with the total price.
Until the parcel arrived.
Now they are not happy.
However, they are still happy with the total price they paid.

Yes but it gives the seller the opportunity to ban the buyer before the sale.0 -
its stupid the item may have cost 1pence...why not moan about the item price.mrs_sparrow wrote: »You miss the point, the buyer WAS happy to pay the £12. They have stated that in the OP.

Well there obviously not happy, hence the thread name "Unhappy With Postage Charged By Seller & Actual Postage Seller Paid"
The OP agreed to pay £12 for postage, for funnily enough, a £12 service. They however did NOT agree to pay, £12 for a £3.90 service.
They also got a part refund for it, and not sure what feedback they shall leave.
So no your wrong, the buyer is quite obviously not happy. Does that sound a happy buyer to you???
And free postage is completely different. The buyer knows where the money is going. That's fair enough. The buyer is making that choice. However, if your going to charge postage, your not agreeing for the seller to pocket the money. It's for postage and packing ONLY, not to line the sellers pockets and pay there fees etc. Which is against eBay rules. So that's irrelevant.
It astounds me that certain forum members, encourage other sellers, to keep ripping off the buyer on postage.
Postage scammers, plain and simple. Least the new defect rules will weed these sellers out :rotfl:As a Neg/Neu and 1* across the board is heading there way!Always open a case if your unhappy with a transaction :money:0
