I have, but you are still talking rubbishToThePoint wrote: »
the fact the thread name is, 'Unhappy With Postage Charged By Seller & Actual Postage Seller Paid'
Most people should have some sort of idea of the post cost, if they dont they have no right to complain to the seller if seller has a guess at the price. (in this instance £12 should be some considerable size or weight)
Free postage is completely different. NO IT IS NOT. The buyer knows where the money is going. No they dont. That's fair enough. The buyer is making that choice. However, if your going to charge postage, your NOT agreeing for the seller to pocket the money. It's for postage and packing ONLY, not to line the sellers pockets and pay there fees etc. Which is against eBay rules. So that's irrelevant. Still is fee avoidance, HOW IS IT FEE AVOIDANCE? as your using the extra money to pay your fees.... and line your pocket!
How is it different?
As i keep saying, you are more than happy to pay £5 with free p&p
yet think you are being conned/ripped off/scammed if you are charged £1 plus £4 p&p. THE MONEY (EXACTLY THE SAME AMOUNTS) IN BOTH CASES GOES TO THE SELLER WHO PAYS FOR THE ITEM THEY SOLD AND TO PAY FOR THE POSTAGE.
What does it matter what they do with the money, you have still paid them the same amount?
It's pretty obvious....if you want more money. Add it to the starting price. SIMPLES!
If you like the price and pay for it, dont moan after delivery, simples!
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/selling-practices.html#postage
So next time, actually read the whole thread before attacking my posts.
Buyers like you astound me. Before i went totally free p&p i would continually get 'combined offer requests' and sometimes get my dsr stars marked down even if i was losing money on postage.
Now that i have added 100% of the postage cost into the starting price i have not had one low mark, a) because they now cant and b) the buyer does not feel ripped off.
So now i can sell somebody multiple items all with p&p charges loaded on to each selling price and the buyer is happy.
eg item price £8 including the £3.50 post cost.
eg buyer buys 10 items at £80 total now INCLUDING £35 post costs.
Now please tell me how that is not being ripped off?
PS, Love your signature, explains it all really.

the apparently selective lack of common sence shown by stamp watchers is quite funny...
they dont have the sence to walk away from high p&p listings like most people would
BUT they do have the sence to figure out how to work ebays case system, to get money off an item, that they might have already won for "good" overall price, since the p&p was "high", funny that.
still at least ebay are getting the extra ebay&paypal fees on the p&p cost now, so someones happy :rotfl: what a great result of buyer "power" in action !0 -

Why change my quoted post? Does that make you feel 'clever'
Just because you can't understand between right and wrong. The difference is quite clear.

Simple enough? Or do I have to repeat myself, over and over and over?
THE BUYER IS MAKING THE CHOICE ON 'FREE' POSTAGE. When you 'charge' postage and packing, THE BUYER ISN'T MAKING THE CHOICE....to pay your fees.
Also, I love your signature, bullying other peoples grammar.
That astounds me to, really does. (I see that got removed from the 'Is it legal for ebay to take commission from seller's postage?' thread)
Did you get that removed, when others commented how petty you were?Always open a case if your unhappy with a transaction :money:0 -

It is not different, It is not different, It is not different,
You are paying the same price. SIMPLE ENOUGH

YOU STILL DO NOT MAKE SENSE OR UNDERSTAND
HOW MANY TIMES CAN I SAY, IT IS NOT PAYING MY FEES. IF THATS THE WAY YOU LOOK AT IT THEN THE PAYMENT I GET IS ALSO PAYING MY MORTGAGE, IS THAT WRONG AS WELL?
Also, I love your signature, bullying other peoples grammar.
Oh! my god, bullying? LOL
That astounds me to, really does. (I see that got removed from the 'Is it legal for ebay to take commission from seller's postage?' thread)
What are you on about?
Did you get that removed, when others commented how petty you
were?
What are you on about?
I amended your post to remove the waffle and only leave the relevant points, something you continuously ignore.
You do not feel ripped off when paying freepost (THE EXAMPLE YOU REMOVED IN YOUR REPLY, FAILED TO MENTION THAT EH!)
Perhaps you do not feel a little silly then, happily paying extra for "FREE" post .
Lose is to not win......Loose is not tight......get it right!0 -
Here is the example, you know the one you removed from the earlier reply!
Please explain how this is not a rip off and feel totally happy about.
eg item price £8 including the £3.50 post cost.
eg buyer buys 10 items at £80 total now INCLUDING £35 post costs.
Just added to make it clearer for you to understand.
So to reiterate you will happily pay £35 postage costs on freepost but
not if i charged £45 plus £35 p&p for the same items?Lose is to not win......Loose is not tight......get it right!0 -

You really do not read posts at all, do you? :rotfl:
I have no-where said I do that. I said 'buyers', not me personally.
If buyers choose to pay £50 for a £1 item and 'free postage' THAT IS UP TO THEM. They are choosing that.
I however, have an issue with sellers CHARGING postage and packing, and then trying to rip the buyers off. Add it to the starting price if you want extra money...least that's honest.
I see you ignored your BULLYING posts, as they got removed on another thread. Failed to mention that to eh?
Your signature is what it was, but in a more vile form with lots of angry faces, don't you remember? FUNNY THAT! Always open a case if your unhappy with a transaction :money:0 -
What post are you talking about, i cannot find it anywhere?ToThePoint wrote: »You really do not read posts at all, do you? :rotfl:
Yes i do.
You seem to fail at answering questions, dont you?
I have no-where said I do that. I said 'buyers', not me personally.
No but you keep stating buyers are right to complain about something yet see nothing wrong with the alternative, both being the same thing with the same outcome.
If buyers choose to pay £50 for a £1 item and 'free postage' THAT IS UP TO THEM. They are choosing that.
But an item for £1 with £49 postage you claim it is a rip off, how is that then?
I however, have an issue with sellers CHARGING postage and packing, and then trying to rip the buyers off. Add it to the starting price if you want extra money...least that's honest.
AGAIN, PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW THEY ARE BEING RIPPED OFF.

So you advocate starting a ' case ' if you are unhappy with a transaction.
How about doing it the right way, the 'old' school way and contact the seller first?
If you are still unhappy THEN start a case.
Ebay would be a better place without buyers such as you.

Course you can't find them, they have been REMOVED. You just pretty much proved that you DON'T READ. I have said it enough times :rotfl:
Funny how you're completely denying all knowledge though. So you don't remember bullying another member for saying loose instead of lose? And other members were saying how petty you are, and that you should get a life etc? Nope, nothing?Always open a case if your unhappy with a transaction :money:0 -

You haven't answered mine? You can't even admit you bully others on grammar. At least admit you did it to poster..... victor meldrew jnr in 'Is it legal for ebay to take commission from seller's postage?' and it was post #133 you quoted.
But as I have to keep repeating, your vile comments got removed, as other forum members didn't agree with you. (Those posts got removed to) Including MINE to youAlways open a case if your unhappy with a transaction :money:0
