the strangest thing happened tonight.
i got home to find a correspondence from shell. it was my latest shell statement!
at the turn of the year i ripped up my shell card and vowed never to use them again.
ive stuck to that and avoided them at all costs.
my latest statement said since july till november i have accumulated 1331 points, whch apparently equals £6.50 in fuel vouchers. plus another 31 points to role on to next statement, plus a load of money off vouchers for over priced items in thier shops!
now ive either become a victim of loyalty card fraud or this is a ploy to get me back into shell stations.
either way i found this very strange....work permit granted!0 -
hmm, seems that i am not alone here then, i have purchased between £25-£40 of fuel every week from the shell garage in hereford since January, always swiped the driver club card, yet my points are zero, phoned them up today with reference this and was told that there was no record of the card being used...!!!!!!... looking at the above posts and talking to some insurance peeps they too have found out about this joke of an offer, this is a SCAM..there is no other way to put it peeps, you are offered points / airmiles IF you spend you money at shell service stations, but when it come to see what you have or redeem them , you get a sub standard robot voice reading from a script that there is a problem, if you wanna hurt them the best thing to do is spread the word, if you really want to hurt them and you have the money take em to court, after all they have offered you a reward for shopping with them, if they have taken your money but not delivered the promised goods then it could by obtaining money / service /or goods by deception... i know i know but the fact remains that a shed load of peeps have parted with their cash at Shell stations in order to get these rewards but it would appear that the company has no intention of delivering said same rewards... like i said...a SCAM..back to Tesco`s0

Hi All
What a way to start the new year....by having a rant
I rcvd £80 of vouchers.....stipulated B and Q. They arrived as multi vouchers Woolworths/comet/BandQ. My wife read in the paper yesterday that ALL vouchers with multi choice (Woolworths/Comet/BandQ) are now worthless.....they are NOT valid. Apparently if the voucher says Comet or B and Q or Woolworths, they are still ok. Think a short msg to 'Watchdog' is in order!!
